Can this machine stitch canvas?

Hi,I bought this machine to replace a much older Singer machine which died on me!!! I am in the process of re-covering the seating/back rest cushions on my Son-in laws yacht. These cushions are piped, so this involves sewing thru 4xlayers of velvety upholstery material!! job nearly completed with no problems.hope this was helpfulJohn M.

Could this machine stitch leather as used in auto upholstery?

Hi, I haven't sewn leather on my Singer Heavy Duty yet, but I have used PVC to make piping and cushions.

I want to sew some vinyl only at hobby level it wouldn't be continous use do you think this machine could handle this.
