Bed Bug & Dust Mite Killer Spray

Didn’t work for me, I used a whole bottle the first time around, no bug sightings for 9 days, then saw 3 in a day (all different sizes), one sitting in the middle of my bed on the duvet! Stayed out of the room as much as possible the first 24 hours after spraying, even slept on the sofa because being in the room gave me such a headache, also woke up with a blocked nose after sleeping in the room. Sprayed again but saw another bug, so gave in and ordered Crossfire. Fingers crossed it solves the problem.

Even in well ventilated spaces this is a nasty thing to use. It smells like it would kill anything, but it turns out the bugs aren’t really bothered by it. Takes a long time to dissipate, lingering for days. No discernible effect on bugs, massive discernible effect on people. Really very unpleasant to use and in my case a completely useless deployment. Even sprayed it directly on a bug, who did admittedly pause for a few seconds, but then carried on his way. Steam is the only way I have found that actually kills them.

This product is extremely dangerous and toxic; DO NOT BUY!!! After spraying this product 2 weeks ago I immediately started coughing and subsequently came down with a migraine and nausea which still hasn't passed. I went to the hospital to get a blood test and x ray done, only for them to tell me everything is normal. However the migraine and the disorientation still remains and I'm extremely concerned if this has any long term effects. I've tried calling various numbers to get more information about the effects and long term damage but they keep referring me to someone else (effectively giving me the runaround). I never would've purchased this product if I knew the harm it could do, it should only be used by professionals and should not be sold to the general public.

We are not completely sure of what we have, as I haven't seem any, but my partner that is a tree surgeon started with the itchiness, few month after I also started. We separated and eventually it stop for few months. I and recently my little boy also started. I hoover my bed everyday mostly, wash the bed clothes almost everyday, clean the floors with boiling water. I am not entirely sure if is bed bugs or else. As we only itchi when go to bed. This is the second one I bought and it does not work. I bought a different product more expensive and I will see if it works.

Writing this to try and help others, when I bought this I was in denial about how bad the problem was, and it was my hesitation that meant I had to throw my entire mattress, bed frame and all of my expensive simba pillows away, and then get an exterminator too. This will NOT kill them off, it is not strong enough or large enough, if you are looking at this ad considering a purchase it’s time to contact a professional. Your housing provider can help you with an exterminator, or if you own your home they are really not as expensive as you may think. Treatment of my small flat took 4 hours and because of the heat/pesticide treatment it’s not possible anymore are alive. This is your sign to call someone in. Good luck x

People seem to have mixed experiences with this, as it has some fantastic reviews. I can only repeat what some of those bad reviews say I’m afraid.. It is totally ineffective and doesn’t seem to kill even those that you spray directly. Ultimately we bought a couple flea traps as this is what the rentokill website seemed to indicate they would do if they came out. I would say the fleas were pretty bad, but the traps cleared them totally in a couple of weeks. This spray though? Useless.

This was like an old man trying to take a pee. Weak stream! I bought it as fly spray. As soon as you hit the button to sorry the flies were already in another part of the room. Truly a waste of money if it was meant as fly spray! That's what I searched, this is what came up. You won't end any flies with this. You might be better throwing the can ar them.

This product failed to meet my expectations. After emptying a whole spray on a mattress, I was dismayed to see new bugs appear within a few hours of treatment. Spraying the bugs did nothing. I switched to the spray, and that was no different - soaked the mattress in the product but yet bugs were appearing hours later. Disappointed to say the least, and wonder why it’s been ranked so highly - as that was one of the compelling reasons for buying the product.
