Item Package Quantity:4 | Size:7Q Long Cam Vietnamese coffee filters (also called a phin) are manufactured in Vietnam from high quality, food grade stainless steel. Featuring a three piece design and a metal handle instead of the plastic knobs found on many other designs. The gravity damper is heavy enough to stay in place when adding water, it will not float to the surface making a mess like the cheaper aluminum designs. Very easy to use and easy to clean afterwards. The 7Q which is our most popular size, is for brewing a ~6 ounce (180mL) serving, it’s approximate measurements: Cup size: 2”-3.2”(5cm-8cm) in diameter, the chamber is 2.4”(6cm) in diameter, and 2.4”(6cm) high. Preparing delicious Vietnamese coffee is quick, easy and doesn't require much clean-up afterward. First pour sweetened condensed milk into the cup, usually about 1-2 teaspoons but can be adjusted to suit your taste. The coffee filter has three parts (filter, damper, and lid), place the filter on top of the cup. Add 2-3 teaspoons of Vietnamese coffee into the filter (any coffee will work, but best results are with a Vietnamese ground coffee like Trung Nguyen or anni ), then place the damper in to the filter and press the grounds flat gently, leave the damper inside. Pour a small amount of hot water (180*-200*)into the chamber and wait about 15 seconds before filling the chamber entirelywith hot water. Place the lid on and wait until the water has dripped though. Stir, adjusted to taste if needed by adding more sweetened condensed milk if not sweet enough, or by adding a small amount of water into the coffee filter and allowing it to filter through if it is too sweet. The final step is to pour into a tall glass of ice (the traditional Vietnamese way), or can be served hot.

Awesome
This thing is awesome! Makes perfect cup. Better than bialetti, better than turkish! Uses way less bean than anything else, ideal pour over as retaining grounds on bottom of upper chamber acts as natural filter, no more filters to buy! Very little grit, no need to decant. I don't use condensed milk, so I can't comment. A delicious, best cup I've had, cup of kopi. My only negative is some edges feel sharp, so use a sponge not hand to clean. I was gonna get aluminum version, but I don't want to have to soak in vinegar to clean tarnish. alum is maybe not good for mind also!

Still looking......
Damper is not a screw-on so there's no way it can compress the coffee grounds so when you pour the first little bit of hot water, the coffee grounds float over the top of the damper.

Don't recommend this particular filter
Not functional, instructions sparse. Don't recommend this particular filter. Had a similar filter before, one in which the filter screwed over the coffee grind, preventing the grind from the espresso, also my old filter fit any standard coffee cup or mug. This model does not fit the standard coffee cup.Its too small in diameter. My old style worked beautifully. The one star was considered, not anything else.

Good coffee
Easy to use. Instructions on how to brew the coffee would’ve been nice. But there are videos out there to watch.

Very good product and design!
Great little coffee maker and I enjoyed the process- still leaves a bit of coffee grain, but pouring through a paper filter takes that small bit away-

Beautiful, simple, maker of wonderful iced coffee
First had coffee from these on a small Caribbean island, Little Corn. Desideri, owned by an Italian and a Canadian, made iced coffee (with condensed milk) using these little guys. By far, the best coffee I had on my three week vacation to Central America and the Caribbean.Ordered some of these so I could continue to enjoy it once I got home. These are highly recommended and name lovely gifts too.

Overpriced
It is smaller than the standard size and overpriced. I found a better one in Lion market for half of the price. So disappointed
