Sits nice and flat. I envisioned it as being a little larger but this is good.A nice feature is that no glue will stick to silicone.

It holds up against solder drops & accidental tip contact. Its very easy to clean. The magnets are not super strong (as expected) so do not lift it if you have screws in the trays.It is relatively small in comparison to other mats I have purchased, so keep this in mind if you generally work in larger areas or if you are a larger individual. I use this strictly for mobile phone repair due to size (and the fact it does not like to be folded or rolled up).

I use this every time I’m soldering jewelry and it works great!! The only downside is I thought it was going to be bigger but that’s my fault for not reading the specifics on the product before buying. All in all a great product!!

I have an ESD mat but I still use this for soldering. it is silicone so it deals with heat well and the magnet strip is just strong enough without causing problems.

good value mat that I tend to use for non-soldering applications. Mainly cleaning some of my electronics or general servicing of my drones. Works well, small and compact…gets the job done without excess wasted space.

I don’t use this a whole lot as I am just starting to play around with this type of work as a hobby. However, when I pulled this thing out of the box I could tell right away it was more than I expected. Not that I am familiar with this type of equipment it feels thick and I have already disassembled a few small electronics and I like the way the small screw spots are laid out and where I can put the tools. It has definitely provided protection for my desk where I use it at. I really like my desk and want to Keep it looking good but I also need it to be functional. I would definitely recommend!
