Great Product, Realize it's not a toy, It's an experience
Despite what the negative people say, You have to understand that this is basically a viewing glass into a world of tiny living creatures. Sometimes they may have perished during shipping or any number of other things may have happened, As for BioPops customer support, I personally have never had an issue getting ahold of or getting responses from them. I bought The Dino Pet Blue as a gift for my retired parents and they absolutely love it. They bring it out on the patio at night with the cats and let it's gentle natural light show them the way. The bioluminescent light by the way is a seriously nice alternative to all the harsh blue light riddled objects most of us deal with every day. If you want a unique, fun experience I would recommend you give this product a try.

Got suckered!
Great item ,except the dino flagellate were not in the package . So when I attempted to contact the company I found out they have gone out of business. Thought this would a great gift but the joke was on me

Dinosaur is cheap ceramic material. Still waiting on the animals in the mail, so if they work, it'll stay at 3 stars, if there are problems, it'll be dropped even lower. Not worth 60 bucks, as this dinosaur probably cost 15 cents to make.

Love the Dino Pet, and absolutely love the customer service from BioPop. The dino is a low maintenance pet that helps ease kids into pet responsibilities. The company write the best emails ever, very witty and helpful.

We couldn’t use it you need to buy a separate item Whitehead was very complicated to find in order to use the product very bad

Just a plastic dinosaur
My Dino pet came without the dinoflagellates and I gave it as a gift so we didn't find this out until we gave it and they opened it, EMBARRASSING! ! NOW WHAT?!

Great but prone to dying
Dim light means low population. No light on the first night after being exposed to sun probably means they died during shipping. The ones I had were really bright and healthy. But one summer day it got too hot and they all died. If it gets too cold they all die. Their level of survival is within a small temperature margin. It’s also a very overpriced product. BTW you don’t need to feed them nearly as much as recommended.

Didn't last long
I contacted the merchant because mine stopped working and they are closed for business. My 90 day gierentee was invalid.
