Great new Appleplay experience for my vehicle.
Very easy to install and set up. Used the suction cup mount inverted on my lower windshield to achieve the perfect position slightly above my in dash unit to leverage the functionality of both units. Works exactly as described and noted only an occasional audio interference with certain FM stations in highly contested areas while traveling my recent 1500 miles. Some satellite audio stations drop off due to my mobile carrier signal strength however, the navigational program always stays connected. Sound quality is decent with internal speaker but, I like using the audio through my car speakers only.

Real detailed review! 2011 Honda CRZ
I installed this into my 2011 Honda CRZ. I genuinely wanted to try this out simply cause I love tech and new things. So instead of a head unit I wanted to try this. You don't need to wire anything up it's simple so I liked that idea. The brightness it perfect you can see easily in all lighting conditions and the colors are deep and vivid. I'll do cons first: The suction for the dashboard is not nearly strong enough, you have to know with this screen is your realistic options are mounting it to your windshield which will hold, but if you want it on your dash it's highly recommended you use short screws and screw into the dash, both mounts have pre cut out holes for screws. In my crz I have a plastic door that has a compartment underneath so i screwed mine to there so it's not actually threw my dash and it can be easily replaced. Next con is sound, the screen has equalizers and a loud mode, keep the equalizers all in the middle and do not turn loud on, all it'll do is give you extreme distortion. I kept loudness off and increased treble a little for clarity and it sounds fine. For the best quality I'd recommend installing a 4 channel amp to your door speakers or just getting a subwoofer. Pros: it works totally fine all features work as they should, the "Hey Google" feature works but sometimes doesn't at least my unit. it has true wires android auto and apple carplay, also can used wired connection too. It connects to your cars Bluetooth and has the ability to hook a reverse camera up to it, doesn't come with one. From my testing if it's hooked up through aux and not Bluetooth when you "first" turn it on the sound quality seems to be a little low/distorted then after a few minutes it clears up, so i'd highly recommend Bluetooth, with BT connection that didn't happen. Overall I love the product and the "new car" look it's added to my Honda CR-Z

Finally - CarPlay in SUV!
Carpuride seemed to fetch positive reviews on YouTube, so I was willing to give the new, larger unit a go. And I love it! Took some time getting used to it. I had a phone attachment already installed and this popped on it, but the weight was too much - would sag during a drive. But, the better position was up top as you can see on the photos. Thankfully, my instrument panel pops off easily and I took 2 small screws to the dash and this thing is pretty solid. Ended up running wires behind panel and filed a bit of plastic to get the audio cable thru and the power easily had cord space below. I’m happy with the clean look. Also happy that it catches my iPhone in about 10 seconds. Works as should. It’s about a second lag for touching the screen and the music to change. The maps works nice. Big thing I had to do was spend about 10 minutes with the EQ. I have a stock Alpine with sub unit. If it helps anyone, I submitted a photo of the EQ that works for me - I then can boost where needed with my SUV’s bass/mid/treble. I like that this is wider than taller so I can see right over it as I drive, but more in line with my eyesight. Will probably add the backup camera down the road. Big fan - this works great.

Do Not Buy!!!
This worked well for about 3 days then you had to unplug the power cord or power cycle the device after the car was started. Then it would randomly freeze up and require it to be unplugged to reboot. Eventually it just stopped wirelessly connecting unless you “forgot” the device from your phone and reloaded it. Even then it would say failed to pair 9 out of 10 times. Eventually I’d give up and 40 minutes into my commute it would randomly connect. I gave up on the wireless portion and just connected via a lightning cable but so much as the slightest bump or even moving the phone would cause it to disconnect (this was a lightning cable that works fine when I connect directly to the car head unit ). When the device disconnects from the wired hookup it won’t pair up again unless you unplug or power cycle the unit.Worse of all this whole process took over 45 days and the 90 day free coverage basically means they will take the item back but charged me a $55 restocking fee. So I had the pleasure of paying $55 to get an inferior product to work about 25% of the time. The FM stereo connection is single channel and sounds like listening to old AM radio. So this wireless display ends up with a rats nest of cables: a power cable. An Aux out cable and a usb cable to your phone. The attached speaker is just a nuisance as it’s not controlled by stereo input so if you turn the radio down to talk to someone you have to fumble through the on screen controls to turn the volume down. You can shut the speaker off but each time you factory reset the device (which is often) you need to remember to shut the speaker off again. The mounts not strong enough to support the weight of the unit so make sure it’s mounted in a way that it can rest on your dash otherwise it’s just going to droop over in an awkward position. On a minor gripe the cigarette plug doesn’t have any extra usb charging ports so it you want to add a wireless charger you’ll need to get a 12v cigarette splitter.I don’t know what better options there are but don’t bother with this one.

Boots up quickly and works great
Very satisfied with this product. It boots up quickly. Once the car is turned on, and the wireless CarPlay connects shortly after boot up. The equalizer significantly improves the audio as compared to my standard Bluetooth connection. If I had to give it one fault, I was, hoping that airplay would allow videos to be played however, it only enables Audio.
