Bought this for my son’s college apartment. Needed to grate some Parmesan cheese. Worked really well. The grater is wide and short. Doesn’t take much storage space and fits in the utensil holder. Easy to use and clean. Comes with a cover.

I works well when finely grating cheese, tried it with monterey jack and parmesan and the process went well without issue.It does not do very well with zesting. Its tiny blades poke too deep that it tends to dig into the pith even on the first pass on zesting a lemon. Also, since the blades dig deep, they tend to get stuck. Instead of one smooth motion, you get stops and starts that really feels dangerous. I felt like I was under at risk of grating my fingers the whole time I zested the lemon.

I got it two days ago. I tried grating ginger and found it to be doing an excellent job. The blades appear very sharp and so, do NOT cut yourself!! The handle is solid and the anti-skid piece at the other end also does the job very well.I would suggest that you only hand clean it because knives and items like this are bound to lose their sharpness in the dishwasher. However, while cleaning by hand please be extra cautious.I have some objection to the "blade guard cover" design. I have no idea as to why two large oval holes have been kept on it, thus exposing the blades. If you want to give a cover for safety purposes, just cover the whole thing. Leaving these oval holes makes it dangerous. The designers might have "some purpose" for those holes in mind but I was not able to figure it out myself. If it is not that important to have them, just try to cover them up in future releases. You can understand what I mean by looking at the last picture in the advertisement, with a blowup of the region in the area of those oval holes.Otherwise I think this is a good buy for everyone. I am not sure whether the metal parts will rust too soon or not. Time will tell for me. Hope it remains like this for a long time.

This is a very good and effective design for such a basic product. I don't have a lot of room in my kitchen to store a big cheese grater so I was pleasantly surprised to find one that was small, flat, easy to use and stores away nicely in a kitchen flatware drawer. I like the design - the bright yellow color makes it easy to find and the plastic shield guard protects fingers from getting scraped. Don't be put off by the small size: it grates a large amount of parmesan cheese in a few minutes - and it is super easy to clean!

I love this grater!! I have been needing to replace my old ones but had yet to find one that I really thought would be good. Well, this one fits the bill, perfectly!! It's larger than my old ones and has a nice handle to hold it securely, the rubber gripper at the end is a big help, no more sliding grater, it's also wider than others ones I found so you have a good surface area. It's nice and sharp, so far I have grated cheddar, parmesan and lemon rind, all came out wonderful!!I would recommend this grater if you need one, it works for multiple foods! I plan on ordering another one!

this is easy to hold and is wicked sharp. can grate fine cheese in seconds. Highly recommend. Wish I had bought sooner.

A very sturdy grater, works wonderfully as it should. I love everything about it. Only issue is that it is a little bigger than anticipated. I use it to grate ginger, garlic and extra fine grating of vegies for salad. It has a extra large handle that is a little awkward. Overall, a good purchase for the money.

This thing is super sharp, for real.I was using this wrong, with frozen ginger root to grate into tea, I say using it wrong because this is not the tool for rock hard items and the extra force just increases the chance of a slip, so my fingers slipped and I sliced my finger pretty good. That's what happens when you rush....So for proper use, fruits, vegetables, cheese, etc, this is the best grater I have ever seen and used.If using it for hard items, please be careful, this is a very sharp and effective product.

SUPER SHARP, BE CAREFUL. I've used it for ginger, orange and lemon peel, garlic, chocolate. Works wonderfully. But it also cuts real bad if you mess up. You need to be super careful. For cleaning, it's best to clean it immediately after using, so that nothing dries up onto the surfaces. Use warm soapy water and wipe in the OPPOSITE direction with your dish cloth, and then run water through the little holes.

Bought it just for lemon ginger drinks and it makes the ginger perfect , it's big and we'll made , I recommend it.
