Great bits, these have become my go-to bits for CNC for text and finer details.They're 2mm.... if you go to fast in your feeds-and-speeds they will snap.I tend to use 20 inch-per-minute speed for a 0.04 to 0.05" depth of cut and with those F&S these last me many many hours of cutting

Perfect for those of us using "3018" style CNC machines using soft woods or MDF. Basically a "down cut" bit that reduces any tear out on the surface. Makes nice, clean cuts depending on depth and speed of course. I suspect they will work fine in larger machines when used with the appropriate collet or adapter.

The quality of my cuts has improved dramatically by changing from upcut mills to downcut. My only caution to a purchaser is not a criticism of the product but of the nature of downcut bits and that is the tendency to jam swarf into a single width cut. This packs the cut and slows the cutting.

These are clean cutting, and are a great way to eliminate the "fuzzies" when cnc'ing softer woods.Bob

This arrive missing two of the five bits. The containers were broken. And plastic zip bag in shipping was open and slashed. Very disappointed!!

They cut very nice at slow or fast speed, i use them daily cutting wood on cnc .

I bought these thinking it was a good deal..... you get what you pay for. Broke 2 bits in 2 days going very slow. Not worth the hassle.
