A33 back in business after years of being dead. I just needed the wall adapter to be honest, but never thought to buy one. I have purchased other portable speakers since this one, but none were as good. The JBL clip 3 has similar quality of sound and good design, but the base from the A33 was much better. This battery fit perfectly and the adapter worked fine. There is no longer an adapter required when you plug it in, not sure when that change was made. I already had the screwdriver needed, but you may have to order one.

Worked great! The speaker sounds is so powerful I was sad when the battery no longer held a charge. It worked plugged in but now I can take it on the go again. Super easy to install, charge and go!

This was a perfect match as far as the battery, someone else said their charger was only 600mah and that is incorrect, the original charger was 2 amp, or 2000 ma, and this one is 2.1 amp so it works fine. The battery its self was drop on and was 300 mah larger than the original and has so far performed well when un plugged with at least 4 hours play. Replacement will require a T6 screwdriver for 7 or so small screws over the battery on the bottom, and there is a gasket be careful as not to tear it. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is for the simple fact the charger requires an adapter to plug into the a34, which for me is a piece then that is loose that I cannot afford to lose or I am down a charger again.

I really thought that my beloved (and expensive) TDK A33 speaker was kaput. I couldn't get it to play at all, even using wall current in AC mode. Then I heard somewhere that a dead rechargeable battery can sometimes disable a device entirely. I had also heard that the A33 battery has a notoriously short lifespan. So, before donating my A33 to the local landfill, I decided to risk a few bucks on a replacement. To my amazement and delight, it worked like a charm! My A33 works like it's brand new again! Naturally, I highly recommend this kit. You will definitely need a torx driver (size 4) to do the installation. Inexpensive (under $10) torx sets are available on amazon.

Installed within a couple minutes. Checked 12 hrs later and it is charging! Very happy with replacement!Edit-Here we are 15 months later and the battery is dying. I only put it on to charge with the battery was low an dying and charged it to 100%; then unplugged it. I should have lasted more than 15 months.

So far so good, my TDKA33 is working like pro. The battery holds a charge and the power cord works perfectly. Make sure you have the right tools to access the battery on your portable radio to remove it. Flat head or Phillips screwdrivers will not work, you will need a micro style screwdriver set for small electronics. I would definitely recommend this product.

The charger is the only thing that works in this kit. The batter will not charge at all despite me trying several different methods. I took the battery back out and installed it again without the botton cover and plugged in the charger and it still won't work. Wasn't worth sending it back.

My TDK a33 is the best sounding Bluetooth speaker I've owned. This new battery, and charger put life back into it! This battery lasts longer than the original did when it was new.

I've bought and installed this but I noticed after using it that if you look on your A34 speaker you will see that the charger it came with should be 600mA and the one they supply is 2.1ASo far it's working but I would recommend going with something from the OEM manufacturer as this unfortunately doesn't meet the specs.
