Comfortable, relieves the back pain & FABULOUS customer support!!!!
I had purchased a back brace before, but because I'm short and heavy (lucky me ;), it was too long and rode up on my neck -- causing neck pain. I was willing to try another brand of brace, but this time I REALLY did my research. I chose this one because the back wasn't close to the neck (so it wouldn't ride up like my other one), there were a ton of good reviews and most importantly, the many mentions of the great customer service.I am a 5'.1", 180 lbs female with a 38" waist and after reading in the reviews how the size could run a little large, I ordered the 32" x 38" Waist brace (I'd rather it be a little tight then too long). The BodyRite Brace did NOT disappoint! The back brace supported my back, was easy to adjust and did not ride up onto my neck. The one problem I did have was the shoulder straps were not long enough (did I mention I'm short AND heavy????) and so to fasten them, I had to pull them really tight which pulled my shoulders back too far. I contacted BodyRite customer service about the problem and they IMMEDIATELY responded, were concerned about my issue and sent me a new brace with longer straps -- how awesome is that???!!! I'm wearing the brace as I type and could not be happier! With the quality of the brace and their caring customer service, I would enthusiastically recommend BodyRite!!!!

Not meant for tall people
Got it to help me from slouching while not in a chair playing games for a long time. It works ok. I’m 6’4 and it doesn’t fit me length wise to provide proper support in the right areas. It helps somewhat but it wasn’t strong enough to stop my slouching. Somehow my posture bent the metal back supports. I guess cause it didn’t fit me right. It wasn’t too uncomfortable but tolerable. Shoulder pads didn’t stay in place but helped support my shoulders. It needs to be longer to fit tall people or make a x-large tall size for tall people.

Good support.
I have been very satisfied with this brace. I have chronic back issues and when in pain tend to hunch forward which actually causes more issues. This keeps me standing with almost perfect posture. It is comfortable and easy to wear.I use it whenever the pain is starting to get out of hand and wear it for an hour or two.My only recommendation would be to enclose the two metal supports. They are often edging upward instead of staying in posi. How about a Velcro flap for them?

Works as Advertised
Lower back support is similar to a standard waist belt used for support of the lower back, but the added features of aluminum shafts in the back riser and shoulder straps that come over the shoulders and around to the front add the posture corrections. This product has done wonders to help me raise my shoulders up and back - my mother had been after me since childhood to "straighten my posture". This corrector does the trick. 5 out of 5 starsSeller actually asked that I to improve with them on the design of the brace. They are quick and efficient at responding to questions. Otherwise the brace I purchased does in fact do a credible job of correcting my slumped shoulders and back. Product construction quality is excellent for the price.

Wouldn't purchase again - junk
Don't care for it at all. It's difficult to keep all the parts in the right places when putting it on because the shoulder straps slip out of the loop in the back and the velcro on the end of those strap gets hooked into the fabric on the back piece and sides. The straps that go around the shoulders keep twisting and the pads on those straps don't stay in place. I suspect it's meant to be used while standing because it's extremely uncomfortable when I'm seated. The image shown is a muscular man - I'm a muscular woman and the large just barely fits around the rib cage and waist. Also, the shoulder straps don't stretch and make it around to the velcro in the front with less than an inch to spare.

Don't enjoy wearing it.
This does pull back the shoulders as it is designed to do but the padding that is supposed to protect you from chaffing leaves a lot to be desired. After wearing the support for a couple of hours, I developed red marks and soreness in the front of my shoulders where the strap continually rubs against them. I would suggest to the manufacturer that they put a much thicker/heavier pad in that area to protect the shoulder from the nylon straps.

Corrected review- New vs old model
I had originally purchased this company's first model and in my one star review reported, "The size choices are inaccurate when fitted on a taller man as it rides up around the rib cage making the waist and shoulder straps too short to connect. Would not advise this model for tall men." The company has since sent me their new model which I'm happy to report fits a 6'5" 230 lb man with room to spare. The size I received is an L (large I assume) which should fit up to a 38-39" waist. The key for proper fit (to allow the formed metal bands to fit the small of your back) is to fit the waist snugly first, and then tighten the shoulder straps, which don't seem to have to be as tight as on other models I tried. An additional feature of the new style is the addition of movable pads on each shoulder strap to cushion rub areas, and the back is breathable mesh and the metal stays are removable for laundering. MUCH BETTER designed product by this company with good follow up and support.

Brace after Lumbar Fusion
I purchased this brace after learning another popular one I had was uncomfortable after my lumbar fusion, it hit right where the incisions end and caused great discomfort. I was right in the bubble with sizing and ordered one too big. Contacted seller and got a new one within days. It is very comfortable to wear, can even wear under clothes without it being too noticeable. Easy to put on and adjust. Keeps me from bending my back and helps with bending at waist. Keeps my shoulders back which will help with strain from slouching. Also because how the shoulder straps are you are aware of your arm movements which helps me think before reaching to be sure I’m not twisting. First few days my shoulders were slightly sore but that is because it is helping me stand straighter and my shoulders back are not used to it. That didn’t last long. Would highly recommend.
