It's a classic style, on the dressier side of casual, and the casual side of formal. I liked the outsole a lot, and that's probably what sold me. It has a beautiful pattern around the stitching. Goodyear welted, good quality construction. You could wear it to the office or running errands (if you want to look better than the average slob running errands). The leather quality is so-so. It's a corrected grain, very smooth finish. I think that's where the cost savings comes from. It arrives stiff as expected, but nothing that won't relax after several wearings. The fit was just right for me. The toe box is a little big, which is what most people like. But it's not so big that you'd need to get a smaller size. There was a tiny bit of damage that occurred during shipping. The seller worked with me to make it right, and I'm very happy with the experience.

These shoes look like shoes that cost far more....there is no need to insist on a made in England badge as with more expensive Loakeshoes. The leather is very polished and the leather sole good quality.A very versatile shoe formal or casual
