These backdrops are great for close tight cropped images and are super affordable and reusable. If you're looking for a large scale backdrop this is not the one because it's pretty small. This material is cloth-like and is definitely see-through. I tape mine to the wall to avoid this being shown on camera. The fabric comes folded so there are wrinkles. you'll probably need to edit them out in post or iron/steam it. I'm too lazy to do that. This material does reflect light so if you're using a studio light you will need to do some photo retouching. I only use this for little photoshoots on my ReadySetPuzzle instagram. I love the color they add and since they're so affordable I got them in different colors. I WOULD RECOMMEND

So like other reviewers have mentioned there is a lot of wrinkles, which do seem like they could be hard to get out due to the texture, but I didn’t try and on the darker color here you couldn’t tell unless you were up close. Overall this is a heavy duty backdrop and it worked well with what I needed it for. I added letters with packing tape and it stuck well for 3 hours!

The item i cannot even use, it is super thing, it is more like a cheap table cloth, will not order from here again. And it is not 5ft x 7ft either. Plus it has little bubble holes in it that comes up on videos.

The fabric's texture, while adding a certain character to the photos, created challenges when it came to achieving a completely smooth and even background. Additionally, the backdrop arrived with wrinkles that, unfortunately, proved resistant to traditional methods of removal. The major hurdle in addressing the wrinkles stemmed from the fabric's synthetic composition, which restricts the use of an iron even at low temperatures. This limitation became a significant inconvenience, as the wrinkles persisted despite various attempts to smooth them out. The inability to iron the fabric was a notable downside, requiring additional time and effort to edit out wrinkles during post-processing.

I liked the material. I had was to iron out some creases a bit but I like that the material is not easily shifted when my toddler stepped on it for she shoot.

This is a great product and it’s worth the price.

Been up since I got it everybody it’s a good buy for the price.

My wallet was wrong. I read the reviews before making this purchase but ultimately decided to give this a shot since some reviews can be overly harsh for some pretty minor things. That was my mistake.Hopping right into what I think is going to be the main issue for a lot of people, this backdrop is thin. I bought the black one with the intention of taking pictures without being able to see what was behind it. Unless you plan to set this up in front of an already dark wall, you will see through this backdrop pretty well. My walls are white and I have all sorts of pictures and dark colored shelving that I can easily see through this backdrop when it’s set up no matter the lighting. At best I can’t make out details but the shape of those things are still very visible.The next issue is the material. The majority of the pictures shown above for this product by the seller are inaccurate. The picture with the white bench is what this product COULD be in the best conditions. The closest pictures to what the material is actually like are the white cloths in steps 2 & 3 of the steaming instructions. It’s definitely one of those you get what you pay for type products.Touching on the those steaming instructions, the wrinkles do require some work. I don’t know how long the one I purchased had been sitting on a shelf somewhere but the creases from being folded for so long would not come out without some serious work. What I ended up doing was setting the backdrop up normally and pressing the wrinkle between the steamer on one side and a throw pillow on the other side sweeping the steamer side to side as I went down the full length of the wrinkle. By the time I thought to use this method I had already worked from one side of the backdrop to the other with no luck. The good news is that this method did work, but it was also more time consuming.I’m still going to try and use this, but this product seems more like it was meant for short term usage. If that’s what you’re looking for then this isn’t bad. If you’re looking for something more long term I’d recommend that you keep looking because this isn’t it.
