My third talking watch
As a senior citizen with not so sharp eyesight, I appreciate the usefulness of a talking watch. They have lasted me a couple or three years each, and are inexpensive enough that when the battery runs out, you can just buy a new watch. I got a chuckle from the instructions...they can't seem to translate Chinese to English very well. If you get frustrated with incomprehensible instructions don't buy this watch. But if you can decipher jibberish, enjoy this useful watch.

Exactly what I was looking for.
I bought this for my mother-in-law who has macular degeneration. This was the only talking watch that I could find that had a leather band, white face, black hands, and black numbers. She loves it! She’s been getting so frustrated lately because she can’t see, and this watch has made things a little easier on her. It was a little difficult to get set up but it probably had a lot to do with the distractions I had while trying.

The Speaking Time Feature
I like this watch, but the speaking time feature is a real problem. I have tried often with the instructions and using YouTube videos, but I cannot get the time to change to AM. No matter what, the watch will speak "PM." This is a bummer, especially for the blind or sight-impaired. So far, TimeChant customer service has not responded. I am seriously considering returning the watch.

Dad is VERY happy with the watch
I bought this watch as a birthday gift for my father, who's eyesight is deteriorating. He is VERY happy with the watch. The watch isn't too bulky, the number dial is easy to read, and operating it to voice the time and date is simple. I would definitely recommend.
