Very practical
These Bison Gear straps are very impressive.The clamp part stays locked where you set it.I drove cross country taking the long scenic route using the straps to tie down my grear to the top of mybtruck, so I was on the road for a month and these straps went through heavy winds, freezing winds, sand, sun, hot weather, rain.Never did they loosen or rip or fray.There is a reason why they guarantee these for life.Super great product!!

Strong and sturdy
These hold down things well, but they are extremely long. Be prepared to cut them - otherwise they're great.

Update On Product
I've had these over a year now. I just used them again over the weekend to haul some items in the back of my truck. They are still awesome, easy to use and stay secure. They are much better than just rope because will lock in place when you tighten down on strap. Well worth it and easy to store in vehicle.

Incredibly well made!
Very tough, perfect length, pulls TIGHT and doesn't let go. Holds kayaks in place without concern. Actually, I was afraid they may warp the plastic! No concerns.

Works great
I use these for holding down my kayak to vehicle roof racks. Frequent use for a few months and they have held up great. They stay tight and have no signs of wear.

Good straps for a canoe
I've had these for a while and use them for holding a canoe while trailering it. They are well made, have a good texture, and hold well. I do wish they made a wider and thicker strap that would hold up to abrasion longer.
