the product functions perfectly and looks wonderful as advertised. setting up via bluetooth is not difficult and you can control the light via your phone easily.

Bit fiddly to get connected to the app took a few goes. Once set up easy to work but lights are not bright as it seems on the pictures and also the room coverage is poor. Had the light on the floor and didn't even cover the whole ceiling let alone the room

First off, the pictures/videos on Amazon use more than one of these projectors. If you want the same kind of effect you will need at least two. If you want the effect on the ceiling you need to place the projector down low (like the floor) to get the maximum coverage possible, but this means you end up looking directly into the projector light when you move around the room.I use mine in my bedroom and the bathroom; it creates a lovely relaxing ambiance and helps me to decompress. The fact that you can use it with an App rather than a remote is good, but it can be a bit glitchy. I move my projector from room to room and have to unplug it, and when I fire it back up with the App it doesn't remember the previous setting and always defaults to one of the Scenes, which is a bit of a pain. I have also found that if I use the timer, the timer doesn't cancel itself so when I use the projector again it switches off automatically with the timer. I went for the cloud only version as it was so much cheaper than either of the star ones, so the glitches don't bother me too much - had I paid more I would have returned it. It was also a bit of a pain to set up with the App as I had to mess around with the speed of my router in order for the WiFi to pick it up, but you can use it without the App if you're happy using a button to cycle through all the different effects.But for the money, it's quite good. The effect is very pretty and calming and it's a great way to relax at the end of the day.

Very nice at night

The colour system takes a bit of getting used to. It produces something approaching the hue you would want if you were to mix the colours displayed, e.g. you ask for gold and you get red, white and blue clouds. The white balance seems to get stuck at the last maximum when controlling by voice assistant. The lensing could have been a bit more interesting, rotation just rotates and doesn't offer any noticable motion of the cloud shapes like the skylite 2 did. That all said these do look good and certainly contribute to room ambiance so just lose a single star for the minor frustrations.
