Honestly? My wife bought and made me start using this product back when it was first, "As Seen on TV." As a man I grimmest and said, "Really?" "Are you serious?" Trust me, I know that look when I get it, so I read the directions, listened to my wife and have been very happily using this exact product for years. All-in-all this is an outstanding performing product that is safe and an excellent value for the money invested, which isn't very much. I have found a major secret to making the job of removing concrete hard calluses from my heels without working my butt off at the same time. I apply Gold Bond Heel Balm and Softener to my heels before brushing my teeth and shaving, allowing it to start softening the calluses. Once I've taken a shower removing the dead calluses is very easy and safe without becoming a cardio event. The concrete hard calluses are now very well softened up, easily and smoothly removed without fear of going to hard or deep and the result is a very smooth to the touch pair of heals. Highly sandal qualified and my wife loves the feel of them also. Amazon.com has the best availability and pricing on this product, (as they do almost everything in the world), with easy ordering especially if you have the Prime program. I credit the person who realized a challenging problem for many people and created a safe, inexpensive solution. I have been making fun of this product for ages. I'm always one to get a good laugh at "As Seen On TV" products and think for the most part they are a scam. Well I'm not ashamed to say it, but man was I wrong!!! This winter has been brutal on my skin, from my hands to my feet I'm suffering from serious dry skin. I have been getting ready for Spring by purchasing some really cute open back shoes and while trying them on I realized my heels were looking HORRIBLE!! While doing a search online for a remedy I kept coming across the Ped Egg and thought, alright, why not! I'm so happy I bought it. My heels are looking so much better and I've only used the Ped Egg twice! I'm not going to lie, I was really disgusted with the "shavings", but they are contained well, easy to empty and the gross factor lasted about two seconds, got rid of them, cleaned out the container and went on my way. I have never been so happy to be so wrong about a product! Really works!

Warning this item is not what it is labled as do not buy from this seller.Cheapest replacement blades that I saw on amazon. They're also cheaply made compared to the original blade that came with my pedegg. And while they're labeled to seem as if they were brand name pedegg products they don't fit snuggly and are hard fit into the shell.On top of that the seller is a big phoney and lying about this product with false advertising. The item is said to come with emery pads as well yet none were included in the box and the box even looked as if it might have been tampered with and they were taken out. After receiving this package and noticing this I saw that many other reviews of the seller listed this problem as well.I would strongly advise against not purchasing this product and buying replacement blades from another seller.I wish I could give negative stars for how bad this product is. I loved my pedegg and when the blades got dull and I needed to get a replacement I looked forward to receiving these and once they arrived I was so disappointed. This product is good. I had previously been using a different kind of file that was akward to hold and messy. However, this product does not leave your feet as smooth and seems to leave a little bit of an irritated feeling for a couple of days. The previous product I was using had the wholes to remove the dead skin but the surface of it was textured similar to a metal nail file and left a very smoth surface. I will continue to use this product as it is faster and less messy.

I bought the Ped Egg at walmart to give it a try.. I have used a lot of different products to try to have my heels soft, I even used a electric emery machine, diabetic creams (I'm not diabetic) and nothing works as good as these blades and emery pads.You have to have your feet completely dry and start "shaving" you'll see the cartrige full of dead skin and your heels more and more clean and soft.. at the end you just use the emery pad and the very small cracks will disapear.. I really recommend this pedicure system, you'll save a lot of money.. just buy your ped egg and I advice you to buy the replacements because you'll use it for sure... If you have very damaged heels like me, use it every 2 weeks and each blade will last 7 to 10 uses. I put the Heel Tastic Cream after each use, this cream is great also, natural ingredients. When these first came out the quality was different. You definitely need to use the sanding pad after you use the grater or you will notice that your feet feel very rough!

I love to walk around bare-footed in my backyard so I have the worst feet in the world because of it! I saw this product in a store and another customer, who saw me reading the box with skepticism, strongly recommended it. She said it did wonders for her feet. Since I have tried everything under the sun to get rid of my callouses, I decided to spend the money on the PedEgg and have not regretted it since! It got rid of a lot of dead skin and also prevented my heels from cracking. I finished it off with the emery pads and then a nice rub down with my favorite lotion. I use this at least twice a month and have ordered, and received, replacements blades for them. I recommend this to anybody who has ever tried all kinds of ways to get rid of callous.
