Despite other nt so good reviews on this product, there were many very good reviews. I decided to buy one. The dispenser arrived fine, packaged and protected. But once the liquid soap was put in the dispenser, the plunger would not operate without catching before delivering soap. Soap delivery was minimal. The plunger was not perpendicular to the plunger, it was at a slight angle, thereby catching every time the plunger was pushed. It took a good deal of force to get the plunger down two hands, one holding the jar firmly while the other hand pressed with force on the plunger. The dispenser was thus inoperable and is being returned. Like the other not so good reviews, I cannot recommend this dispenser to anyone because you will take a chance that defective manufacturing will render the dispenser inoperable.

We used two of these dispensers for about a year for dish soap and hand soap. I think that if you know you'll use them every single day multiple times a day, they'll be fine. However, if at any point they were allowed to sit without use for even a brief period of time, they started to rust. I'd pump the dispenser and soap mixed with rust would pour out. Also -- one of the ones we had just randomly started leaking soap into the sink on a regular basis. This must have had something to do with rust too, because all of the soap trails underneath the dispenser on the edge of the sink were a brownish orange color. Pretty gross!

The design of this pump is great. It's very unique and fits well on my counter (replacing a plastic holder that also held a sponge - the original nozzle broke off, which is why I liked the idea of a different style pump). The reason for the 4 stars is there is intermittent "pressure" to the soap. most of the time, it only pumps out a small amount of soap(so multiple pumps for a sponge) and other times it gets a little too excited, and shoots right over the sponge!

I really like the design of this dispenser. With that said, there are a few things that I’ve experienced with these. The first one I bought developed a crack. Over time, there is this rusty crud that develops at the base of the pump that has to be cleaned off every-now-and-then.

I LOVE this. Have purchased 4 different ones through this year and they all ended in the garbage. Not this one. I will order another, in fact. Aquirts at right angle, nothings drips on bottle, stays clean.

Been using in my kitchen for 5 months. Looks great. Clean lines and easy to see when it needs to be refilled. Definitely much better style than advertising a specific dishwashing brand. Only detractor is that soap dries at the end causing a partial clog (the way some lotion dispensers get clogged with dry lotion if you don't use the lotion frequently enough. I have to be careful when I pump or what gets through will squirt in whichever direction.

I purchased two of these for my bathroom (one for soap, the other for lotion). I love the unique design. It seems like it would blend in with just about any bath decor style (I have contemporary, and they look great). The bottles are a generous size, and the brushed nickel finish is not only stylish, but good at hiding fingerprints. The bottom of the base is sturdy and sits comfortably on my small sink.

worked well the first 2 months then became a huge source of aggravation...soap comes out in spurts, I took it apart, cleaned it, changed soaps....going to throw away and buy something else. Its just my husband and myself so it does not get used but maybe 4 times a day. Very disapointed!

Smaller than I thought and pretty light, but it looks good and works well so time will tell if it holds up.
