Bomber Case
I have had this case for about a year now and it saved my phone from indefinite destruction. I was rock-climbing recently and i dropped it about 200 feet off a cliff. I thought it was going to be destroyed and shattered. Some how my phone walked away completely functional. There is a large dent on the back side and the screen is coming out but it still functions at 100%. I do think this is partially due to the durability of Iphone SE's (best phone on the market). The case is completely waterproof and I love the wrist strap that comes with it. My only complaint is the inside gets dirty and its hard to get the case off to clean it. However I think the fact that the case is hard to open enhances its durability as well it being water proof. If you are a spaz like me and drop your phone a lot i could not recommend a better case. Also its cheap so thats tight.

A great alternative to lifeproof cases!
This case is so impressive for the price! I just got it a few days ago, and I can already tell it’s going to be great! The only real issue I have is how hard it is to get the case off, but I don’t really have any reason to. I was considering a life proof case however this had equally as good, if not better reviews and was significantly cheaper so I decided to try it and I’m so glad i did. The case itself is super sturdy and durable, and the other thing I really liked was the switch for the ringer which is just a little twisty thing, I don’t really know how to explain it, but it’s great! The package also contains a bunch of great extras like a grip, a strap etc. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great durable waterproof case.

Good case, but microphone membrane failed.
I got this case for my old iPhone SE to make it waterproof so I could use it as a camera for filming YouTube fishing and boating videos. It is important to note that I don't carry this phone as a daily use device, and have not done so since even before I got the case. As such, I don't use this phone much at all. I've had the case for 6 months, and for most of that time the phone has stayed at home, unused and untouched. I want to review this case by category:1. PROTECTIONWhen I have used the phone, the case has been solid. The construction is like having armor for your phone, making it feel very well protected against drops and impacts. I have not fully tested the water tightness of the case, but they do recommend assembling it WITHOUT the phone and then weighing it down in a pan of water for awhile to see if it leaks before using it with the phone inside. Use a tissue inside to see if any water gets in. That said, mine has been splashed, and used in the rain, and it protected the phone well. Also, the lanyard gives me a way to fasten the phone to something to prevent loss in the water. Even just tying it to a float is a good idea, and it even comes with a little inflatable one, but that one did not impress me. I'd rather just use a piece of pool noodle with a cord, which is guaranteed not to sink vs an inflatable that could get a hole in it and not work. The float also felt way undersized, at least to me. I just tossed it without even trying it, it's not worth the risk.2. FUNCTIONAL USEUsing the phone touch screen through the case has been just fine and everything works as normal. Wet fingertips will have to be dried for it to work right, though, and rain drops just makes it impossible to use the touch screen at all. It has to be dry to work right. The rotary knob for the iPhone mute switch works well, just be careful and don't over twist it, or damage to the knob may result (so I have read, but mine works fine). The side buttons are easy to use, not too hard to press, and they are easy to feel for without looking. The size and shape of the case make it easy to hold and use without dropping. The charge port and the 3.5mm jack port both have peel away rubber covers, and they work well and feel very snug to provide a good seal when closed. When I record video, I use an external mic plugged into the 3.5mm jack, also using the short extension wire that came with the case. The extension has a rubber seal to maintain the water tightness while the cover is peeled back. Using the camera with the lens capturing pics and video through the case while covered is as good as with the phone out of the case. No fogging or blurriness at all. I get very crisp and clear images. Also, glued inside the case is a thin steel disk. I assume this is for use with magnetic phone mounts.3. APPEARANCEThe case is also attractive, and in general, I really like it. Being hard plastic, it is easy to clean if it gets dirty.4. PROBLEM AREASThe home button cover is only a thin, flexible membrane, and these are the areas that normally go bad first on these types of cases. I figured this would be the thing to fail. However, I noticed that the membrane covering the phone's built in mic actually failed first. It somehow got a small hole in it, and I can only assume this was from pressure internally as the device heated up, or from vibration as I played back videos I recorded. Regardless, there has been very little use on this case for this to have failed already. The membrane is recessed and not easily noticable unless you look directly at it. If I had not inspected the case before and after each use I would not have seen it and this is an area where water will enter if it accidentally got dunked. This hole means the case is no longer waterproof.5. CONCLUSIONFor my use, the case will still work despite having a hole in the mic membrane. I will simply seal it up completely since I use an external mic, anyway. But this means the phone would no longer work as a normal call making device IF I WANT TO MAINTAIN WATER TIGHTNESS while in call. Not even on speaker phone, since this membrane is used for picking up voice in calls. That said, most watertight cases tend not to transmit sound very well anyway, and people usually complain of muffled audio due to the case being sealed. I could also simply peel the charge port cover down to allow talking with more clarity and bypass the mic membrane for calls. Also, bluetooth devices and any wired headset that uses the 3.5mm jack will still work for calls, and allow the case to remain sealed. So the case now requires a workaround there. The membrane has failed, thereby defeating the water seal property, but all in all, it still works well for my use, with a small repair needed to seal that hole. I will probably cut a small square of peel and stick craft foam and make a solid gasket to apply on the inside. I don't plan to submerge the phone for any underwater videos, and it will withstand rain and splashing as is. For use as a case on a daily carry device, just don’t expect it to be waterproof for submersion and it would still make a good case, for excellent protection against drops, and even for talking while in the rain. The recessed mic hole means rain won’t easily run into it since people hold their phones more upright at an angle while talking. Once the mic membrane is removed then talking will actually become easier. Lots of cases are not waterproof, so don’t buy this one expecting that, and it will be fine. I still give it 4 stars for how solid it feels, it offers the best impact protection in this price range of any case out there.

Better than life proof!
Instead of overpriced life proof that discontinues your case so quickly anyway, we just use these instead now. Cheap and effective. They fall apart just like the life proof ones do (was a loyal life proof customer/promoter for over 10 years but they really have gone down hill.) but it's much cheaper and easier to just buy a new case for $15 every few months instead of going through life proof's ridiculous warranty process and be told that they literally discontinued making cases for your phone which is only a year old and can't replace it.

Better than nothing and not expensive
Piece of mind every time I dropped my phone or in the rain. I wouldn’t submerge it unless on accident. The round knob that turns silent mode fell off leaving a hole but still glad it’s on for drops. In my case there isn’t many cases available for the iPhone se 1st generation so it is what it is.

Absolutely worth it
Perfect case for my kids phones. They’re still learning how to take care of them and don’t quite consider the importance of staying away from water, taking them in the bathroom to play music when they shower, dropping them, etc.We tested the cases for a little over an hour in the bathtub, fully submerged, with a rock on top to test the water resistance. We had no leaks in either case. You can fit a pop socket onto the case perfectly and they stick well.I recommend testing them every so often. This is our second time purchasing (my kids are rough on these things). I don’t mind buying them once a year to protect our investment on their phones.
