Rocks for CA Rolls
The good news - it is the easiest way I've found to make the inside-out rolls. We simply roll up the ingredients in a 1/2 sheet of nori, do the bazooka normally but inset the nori-roll into the rice-well, clamp the hinges, squish it tight like normal. We push it out onto tabiko then hand shake sesame seeds. The bad news is that, assuming you have an sushi skill at all, the bazooka is way slower than rolling your own standard nori-on-the-outside rolls. It's fairly cheap plastic and I think it's gonna break with any regular use. The cutting guide is definitely gonna get cut up as the soft plastic is no match for sushi knives. The diameter is slightly bigger than a traditional roll, which is okay I suppose, but could be a problem because you will use up more rice per roll, more calories, etc.But we made a massive pile of CA rolls using the bazoooka and it works great for that ! It sure was a conversation piece at the party! Overall, 4 stars due to CA roll excellence.

So dope! Get one!
The media could not be loaded. This is such a sick tool to help make sushi! I don't know if id've attempted to make sushi without the help of a sushi bazooka. Cleaning up can get a bit sticky, but if you follow the easy directions that come with the product, making sushi is a slice of... 🍣

Easy to Use but..
Man, I am conflicted on this sushi roller. On one hand, there's no easier way to make a lot of rolls, easily, neatly, and perfectly. You can roll out 1 in less than 2 minutes after getting the hang of it. It compacts the rice for a nice, tight, roll and it ejects flawlessly. On the other hand its hinges are so flimsy, it's as if they for got them and just piped a little plastic there so they could box them up quickly. I mean, the extrusion part doesn't even clip into the opposite side. The actual latches are good but the unit needs something to secure it better on the other side before you begin to close.I got it with an Amazon issued 'check out" coupon and it comes with a mat so, in my case, this cost me a little over 5.00 for the actual gadget. That's worth any attempts to rig it it so I wont return.I just don't see any practical reason why the non latched side needs to open at all. They should just put a permanent hinge. If you don't mind the extra rigging, this will make awesome sushi rolls.

What a fantastic product! It has everything you need - and don't underestimate the glory of the slicing guide/holder that it comes with!Instructions say to oil down the device - really all it needs is a light brushing of oil, don't go crazy with it.The most ornery part is the hinge, but once you get used to wrangling that in, this thing becomes so fun and easy to use. We're all eating cheap home made sushi over here!

Good product for the price. Works as advertise.
Simple to use and works as advertised. Hinges holding the two sections of the tube together are not sufficiently secure to prevent the tube from separating when trying to clasp each side together. Does make an even sushi roll. I do recommend the product.

Works amazing makes tight rolls!
My husband got this for me as an early Christmas present because I love California rolls and they are quite pricey. This this works like a charm!!!! I do recommend putting a thin coat of oil on it so the rice doesn't stick though. It takes a few times to figure out how much of the ingredients to add and not overfill but it makes a wonderful tight roll. Can't wait to make more advanced rolls!

Does what supposed to do but not good at it.
It works like it should but my biggest problem and why i only gave stars is because of how it snaps together . It fell apart 5 times while tryin to close it while full of sushi fixins. That is a deal breaker for me. It makes me not want to use something that falls apart everytime i want to use it. The hinge on it is pooly designed. Not to mention all of the plastic excess on the edges of the bazooka and the holder that helps you slice the roll. I had to trim it with a knife. Using a sharp knife to cut the roll , i also was shaving off plastic from the slotted holder onto my food. That piece needs to be some kind of metal. All in all the best thing that ame with it was the ebook it had a good amount of info.

Super fun and pretty easy
This thing is awesome. My 11 year old and I love sushi, and always wanted to make it at home. The roll maker part - the hinge wasn't the most sturdy when flipping the two halves together, but once we got an idea of how much to put in on each side, it was awesome. The roll holder to cut the slices was perfect!
