This thing is built well, it’s heavy! The serrated edge is sharp the strength edge is definitely not a razor. But it’s a gardening tool for digging in dirt! It wouldn’t stay sharp anyway. The sheath is heavy leather that is easy to squat and bend with. The Hori Hori fits very tight in the sheath but I’m sure it will break in. This is a steel at $20!My wife has a Hori Hori that I paid $80 for 10 years ago, this one better that it!!!’Love love love it.Highly recommended.

I was shocked at the quality of this tool! I figured when I purchased that it would tie me over until I find a higher quality piece. I was pleasantly surprised. It's heavy duty and I use it for everything and won't be without it.

Great tool. Seemingly well made knife, very attractive handle; leather sheath has tooled design and thick leather construction. Belt loop may not be as durable, time will tell. Sharpener rod a nice bonus, does a good job of sharpening straight blade. Recommend this set.

I was overall pleased with the craftsmanship and quality but I do have one complaint that, from what I’ve read, seems to be the most common one. The sharpness of the blade, it comes very dull. I was aware of this when I purchased it but will say was not expecting it to be as dull as it was and as hard to sharpen as it is. It’s kind of a catch 22, the thickness and shape of the blade that makes it durable and functional is also what makes it so difficult to sharpen. That is also what lead me to think maybe it’s not supposed to have the edge one would expect on a knife. It doesn’t seem to be designed for a knife edge. So I came to the conclusion that if you think of this as a knife you will take issue with the blade edge ad sharpness but if you think of it as a tool for gardening you will be completely satisfied.

This gardening knife is so beautiful to look at that it is a shame to get dirty in the garden. Well designed and crafted -- just a tool that you want to have in your kit.

The tool itself seems fairly well made. But it's near impossible to use. The sheath is ridiculously tight making it dangerous to unsheathe / re-sheathe. It's not because it's new and not worn in either. It's simply not wide enough and the spacer is too low. Returning.
