Lacking
The topic is interesting and the author has dedicated a decent amount of effort to compiling examples to assert his theories: that there are murders being commited, not classified as such. However, there seem to be numerous causes that the author supports as viable, such as: police brutality, gang violence, serial murderers etc.. The biggest problem is that this book doesn't, actually, pursue one angle deep enough to glean the objective. The Buffalo case coverage inferred the victim could have been the victim of rowdy football fans and crowd violence, whereas, a smiley graffiti is presented as an example of a more planned crime; without further explanation. The Indianapolis crimes are available, word for word, on the author's blog, so there is no real need to duplicate here. There is an obscure inclusion of the Natalie Wood death, for a reason not known to me, other than to allude that water is a convenient scape goat for crime. The most intriguing part of the book is the research completed on a serial killer known to frequent many locations, however, even this section is poorly tied into the overall theory of smiley faced killers. This is just a disjointed collection of regurgitated material from the authors blog. Just use Google or follow the link referenced here and you will get the same material.

Four Stars
Not all drownings are accidents, and they are too quickly and blithely written off as such.

Excellent!
Again Mr. Rox deals with the young drowning men tragedy. He offers someanswers that are just darn chilling. Also Natalie Wood's drowning isreviewed.

Rest in Peace Little Brother. Walton Mattew Ward murdered October 12, 2012 in Broad Ripple, Indianapolis
I hope this publication helps find the Murderers. My brother had dreams of moving to San Diego and being a MUY THAI fighter. God rest his sweet soul. Walton Matthew Ward, November 23, 1988-October 12, 2012. Last seen alive by a 'bouncer' at Landsharks, Broad Ripple Avenue, Indianapolis, IN.

Book about my brothers murder?
To be honest.... I really don't know why someone would write a book about this stuff, unless they knew what was goin on from the inside. My brother was murdered and someone writes about it? WTF?!
