What can I say, I do NOT usually purchase anything "as seen on TV". But after picking this up on discount, well I'm going to have to start really looking at reviews and giving them a chance!This thing is great all round, but let me give the major questions I wanted an answer:1: Yes on the high setting it will easily reach an even sear on the meat/veggies/etc that you are going for. No problem.2: Heat is even. Across the entire cooking space, not just the spot where it is wired underneath from the grill plug. Great.3. Came with a cookbook for some ideas to pass round, alot of them not fancy and really easy to pick up cheap and try 4 yourself.4. Cleanup is great. Just have to wait till it is cooled down, make sure unplugged (obviously) and taken out prior😅. But just take the grill area and pick up and out along with the drain pan and wash with a cloth and warm/hot soapy water.-do not use a scraper or the scratchy side of the scrubbers or a metal sponge, they will ruin the coating and cause the non-stick to wear out.-4:Food cooked good and fast and even, and cooked with it three or four times since having it already since cleanup and Cooking was a breeze. Bout ten mins for burgers both sides, potatoes bout thirty wrapped n foil, corn ten in foil. Steaks fifteen well done.Pick one up you won't regret it. Me and my family are thrilled with the purchase.

This fits perfectly on top of my black faced glass surface stove top. First time used, I set the grill on top of the area of two right sided burners. Then turned on back left burner to boil potatoes to make mashed for meal while grilling my steak. A few minutes later i saw smoke coming from back of grill. It is advertised as smokeless. As I looked to see why black smoke was coming from the grill, I saw a flash of fire break forth. What??? Upon checking, I found i had turned on wrong burner and had the back burner melting my Grill base. I quickly turned everything off and slid my grill forward and off hot burner, sending black melted plastic everywhere. Stupid me! I quickly cleaned the melted plastic off my stove and counter top while grill quit burning and cooled down. I was so disappointed. After things calmed down and I had the mess cleaned up I lifted the melted base up to toss it in the trash and discovered it had retained its shape and it could still fit the grill into the base just fine. I hooked the heat plug back into the grill and set it back onto my flat surfaced stove top and began all over again, a wiser woman and happy to report the steak was perfectly grilled. I would buy this again, and almost had to do so.

This is a great product, but not completely smokeless as advertised! Hence the four star rating! You can burn something on this and it will smoke!

Was a bit apprehensive about this product when I opened the box, there were a couple of negative reviews regarding it being smokey when cooking on high. I used it today for the first time, set it on high, allowed a few minutes to reach temperature, then began searing a 3 lb pot roast and to my delight, there was no smoke at all, the roast seared to perfection with gorgeous grill marks and I finished it off in my oven. Cleanup was easy-peasy and I can't wait to grill-up some burgers etc. Definitely worth the price and keeps us grilling throughout the winter.

This is perfect for what I needed it for!! Easy to use, small enough to store and easy to clean. It's not dishwasher safe but that doesn't bother me. Stakes came out perfect!! Little to no smoke and it smelled amazing!! Beats stovr top or oven. ! Don't have an outdoor grill since we are re doing patio so this is perfect!

Like others said: It cooks unevenly and there is no indicator to tell where to turn the temperature knob to so you can tell how hot you have it set to.It does heat very quickly and is mostly easy to clean and use, so I give them credit for that.If you look at what looks like support on the grill, it's actually the heating element (it has kind of an oval shape), you will notice it only covers a small part of the grill. Anything not directly above (or close to it) the heating element, doesn't cook as fast as the rest.I did make some good steak and salmon (actually tastes great), but I had to microwave parts of them because they were under cooked.

I have been using this for a few months now, and I love it! It cooks food easily and it cleans up quickly and nicely. I recommend wrapping the drip pan in aluminum foil, that way you can just change the foil when it's dirty. I use it 1-2 times per week.

I've had this grill for over a year now, but I have only used it 5 times. It worked great for the first 2 times. On the 3rd time of use, I noticed that I had to turn it all the way up to get it to get hot enough. On the 4th time the only way it would work was on high. Today we used it to grill kabobs and after 20 minutes, we ended up putting them into the oven to cook them. I was really happy on the first two times using the grill, but after that it just doesn't work. Definitely purchase a warranty for this grill just in case the same thing happens to you.
