The license plate holder is sturdy and easy to install, you need it for some foreign cars. Our new used car had one but it was broken and only one screw. No other way to hold a license plate on the car. This is perfect.

Great product. Appears SOLID! Lines up perfectly on our AUDI 2021 A5.We had to throw away the audi bracket since the plate screws were put on by dealer so tightly that the little clips on the audi bracket soon in place-TORTURE to take out! Anyways,excited this bracket lined up nicely with holes on metal (despite list on amazon NOT confirming it would work on 2021 Audi A5!)It did! BUT! the head on plate screws provided too small and go right through license plate holes-so I got washers that made it work! BUT! When I tried to put plate frame on top, the screws provided (now with washers-also needed for frame) were too short!!!!!So now I have to find longer screws same pitch/etc that are longer than those provided so it grabs the frame! PIA but will be good once I do it...Just provided TWO sets of plate screws (short and long!)

I had the OEM plate on my 2019 Audi A5 Sportback Prestige S Line Black Optic it fell off after one plate change and took all the screws with it.I once got quoted $200 for a plate holder and I literally laughed that they told me that with a straight face.I came across this and was skeptical but it came with the exact Allen key that fits the OEM screws which is obviously an overengineered Audi screw.I always mess up my installation one way or another but this time it went perfectly and was very easy to install I highly reccomend a heat gun and goo gone for the removal and cleaning behind your old plate.Looks pretty good- a lot of reviews said you can’t put a plate frame but I think I will be able too.OEM++

This product's bolt pattern is not set low enough on the bracket. Where's though it is completely Smashed up against the rearview camera

The hardest part is getting the adhesive strips on the OEM bracket to let go. I used a plastic putty knife to carefully pry it off. After that, simple installation with 2 screws into the existing holes on the car. The holes for the plate are similar to OEM in that the screws do not go all the way through into the body. But there is much more thread engagement, it's a better design, and it definitely feels more confident than OEM bracket. It's a lot less expensive, too. The included plate screws will be fine for a plate alone, but are most likely too short if you want to include a frame. The head diameter on the plate screws could stand to be larger, so adding washers might be helpful, or just getting different screws altogether.

The bolt holes to attach to the car were about an inch lower that the part I was replacing. Not a big deal as it still worked. I liked that they provided everything you would need to include all new bolts and the bolts require a hex bit to remove. It is by far not a fool proof anti-theft feature, but it can't hurt.It took about 10 minutes to install and it is very sturdy. It also seems to have a better design than the Audi holder it is replacing as the bolts rusted and stripped out the female part.

Great fit for my Audi that I bought out of state that had no tags nor tag cover.
