High Quality Robust Slip Lead
A High Quality and Robust Slip Lead. We have had ours for over a year now, having used it every day in varying weather conditions. It is easy to clean after walks on the beach or in the rain and mud. It also survived being nipped by our puppy when she was in the teething phase. The stopper is very good, it is easy enough to move to the desired position, while also being tight enough to stay put and not loosen/tighten on its own. The colour is also vibrant, and has not faded over time, making it easy to spot when it is buried at the bottom of a bag. The reflective pattern within the rope is also a bonus when walking in the dark near road traffic. Overall, one of the best slip leads we've had.

Very good quality
Very good quality and the leather bit is very tight which helps with the collar bit not slipping down.

Great leads…
We have 4 dogs and have been using these leads for years…. For us they’re great and the dogs seem to like them. They last for years and I only bought this so I had a spare to keep in the car for if I forget one.

At last! 3rd time lucky.
My new Pomeranian responded well to golden retriever slip leads so I decided to get her a dainties one of her own. From Amazon of course, but this proved harder than expected. They were too thin, too thick, too long, too heavy, but I couldn’t fault the quality or price of any. When this one arrived it was ideal, very well made and lightweight enough to suit a small, active dog. I find I have better control of a dog when using a slip lead and they are more relaxed and confident. A great buy. Highly recommend.

Great bit of kit.
Unlike many slip leashes this one does not stretch, meaning that the little tab stays where it is put - with so many others it requires almost constant fiddling to avoid choking your dog. This is shorter than most such designs and is a relatively narrow cord but works very well for me and my extremely lively 1 year old Collie Cross. It has really helped to move her on in walking in a civilised manner.Like any tool, you need to learn how to use it properly for best results.A quick tug (and a "Tsk!") for correction is the opposite of letting your dog strain against the leash and choke itself. So sad to see how many folks fail to understand this!Use it wisely.

Brilliant quality Lead
Really impressed with the quality of this lead, for the price. A dog trainer I watch recommended this brand. so I bought it. it's very strong, The tab to hold the slip lead in place is very good. its doesnt seem to slip like my old slip lead did. meaning I can keep it in place under my dog's ears without it slipping down.Very happy.

Great training aid
While my border collie pup has been walking fairly well with a harness— by simply stopping or if she pulls and rewarding loose lead walking with food—with distractions in play a harness gives you zero commutation with the dog. All you can do is ‘hoik’ doggo away, which teaches nothing as she is comfortable lunging when she feels like it.This slip lead replaced one I briefly borrowed, that happened to be Ancol too, and works just as well—just has a snazzier purple colour. With the lead attached behind the ears a gentle swift tug focusses pup’s attention. You have to stick to one side or the other, left or right, so the lead can freely tighten and loosen. Also, don’t head off on a big walk without first getting the hang of it. Try some left and right turns and practice your swift, gentle ‘tug’. Unlike a harness, you can’t ‘hoik’ the dog away as this could cause pain. The lead should be loose almost all the time: doggo will likely simply self-correct when she feels slight pressure of her own making. It doesn’t take more than a few minutes to dial in walking with the slip lead, though. Doggo might resist or grab the lead at first but soon learns ‘loose means happy’.If you’ve never used a slip lead as a training tool, give it a go. Do it properly and you’ll likely be amazed how even terrible walkers can be made compliant. Rapidly.
