Very sturdy and comfortable

Most of the parts go together quite well. I would recommend using a good quality 5mm hex wrench like Bondhus or Eklind. They usually have a longer arm than the T-handle hex wrench supplied. A ball-end hex driver, 5 mm, is very helpful, too. Any hardware store should have both.When attaching the legs to the central star-shaped part, the holes in the legs don't always line up. You can get the screws started with your fingers and a little patience. Then run the screws in with a tool. Don't force them as you may strip the screw or its mating hole. Once the screws are all the way in, give them a final tightening with a long handled hex wrench. Don't use an impact driver as you can damage the hex recess or even strip the screws or their mating hole.It's probably easier to attach the chair back if you lie the chair on its side on the floor. Use a long M6 x 1.0 screw or the shaft of a small screwdriver to help hold the back in alignment with the arms until you can start one of the supplied screws. Then everything goes easily. An assistant would be helpful as well to hold the back in position while you start the screws.The casters should work fine on a hard floor or a thin industrial carpet. If you have a thicker carpet, then get a chair mat, the thicker the better.I thought the chair was pretty comfortable. You can adjust the force needed to tip the chair back using that large knob under the chair seat. Mine came very tight and I needed both hands to loosen it. Once loose, it adjusts easily. Note that to lean the chair back, you need to pull the height adjusting handle out.This is the second of these chairs that I have purchased. Other that than the difficulty assembling the back to the arms, it goes together pretty easily.Inspect your chair carefully when you unpack it. The second chair came with a small rip at the lower edge of the seat cushion. Shouldn't cause any problems; too much trouble to ship it back to Amazon.

Haven't done much more than like an hour and a half in it at most, but it's honestly a pretty good chair for the price point. It even reclines a bit with you if you sit back, wasn't expecting that.Highly recommend if you're on a budget. I got it to replace my old office chair after a move.

I have put a million chairs together over the years. I can tell you this was the most difficult one, especially the armrests to the back and bottom. One bolt never did line up, wont ever purchase againUpdated the rating to a 1-star. Finally tossed this chair in the trash after having it for less than a year. Sitting in it wasn't comfortable, wheels marked up the tile and it would only roll in a circle.

My son bought this chair in September. The gas lift failed in two months. Attempts to contact the company have failed so I guess we just have to eat the cost. I didn't really expect much from a chair in this price range but only lasting two months is ridiculous.
