good size for carrying/loading
We always used to use a pretty common 7 gallon "blue jug" when camping/traveling, but as we've aged we found that hefting one or more blue jugs in and out of vehicles wasn't always much fun. We got several of these and find that they're much easier to carry, they travel well because they lock together in a stack, and so far they've been durable but it's only been months not years, so unsure about long term durability.

Sturdy, Work just as described
These were a little pricey, but I have to tell you it was worth every penny. 10 pack, reasonably rationed will provide water for about a month for us and stores in a fairly small footprint. Thinking of getting another 10 pack.

No leaking
These cubes are great for water storage. I have been hesitant to store them horizontally, concerned that they would leak. Most reviews say they are fine, but a few complain of leaking. I've had no problems with them. Very durable, no leaks, and I imagine they'll last for many years.

So far, so good.
Haven't quite used these yet, but with hurricane season little more than a month away I'm glad I finally bought these rather than rely on the gallon jugs I had saved. These look pretty sturdy and also appear to hold water fairly well, but I will see in about a month's time when June rolls around and Hurricane season kicks off.May even test the spouts and see how they hold up.

Handles are interesting. I have mine with opening up to prevent any leaking
At first putting the handles on the jugs i thought they were brilliant. Assuming they wouldn't fall off because one end goes in one way and the other side the opposite but when trying to use handles to move the empty "bricks" , they would come loose on one side pretty consistently. This may not happen when carrying with water in them, but i wouldn't want to risk it with 3.5 gallons of water. I read many reviews before purchasing and noted many people said they leaked so i paid close attention and noticed that i had to thread the caps backwards several rotations before they would drop correctly into place and then was able to tighten lids evenly. Sometimes it took more time than it should have, but I'm a bit anal so i wanted to be sure. Regardless, i have my 10 bricks side by side with caps on top to prevent any leaking. I also have them sitting on a thick shower curtain with edges raised so around as they are being stored in carpeted bedroom. I only filled mine with 3 gallon of water so i could move them easier.

My worst purchase ever !
We were excited to get our water storage containers as we live in a home with limited storage space and in a place that can have severe winters. Because of their compact size and shape, they would be a perfect fit under our king size bed. After four hours to clean and prepare them, I decided to test them for leaks by filling them and setting them flat on the bathroom tile. If after time they showed no signs of leakage, I slipped them under the bed. Out of ten containers three leaked on the tile even after repeated attempts to tighten the lids. The rest under the bed, I watched carefully for about two hours. Of the seven under the bed, two more started to leak. Frustrated I took all of the containers and stored them in an upright position in a place I really didn't want to place them.I really don't understand how you could sell a product that is totally unreliable, and when stored in the position they were designed for an abysmal failure.I've yet to decide whether or not to return them. In short this has been my worst purchase ever on Amazon.
