Tough, accurate, easy to use and built well.
The Screen is bright, its very sturdy, comes with batteries, mini screwdriver to get the battery compartmant lid off and a fish mouth clamo like in the picture and a stainless steel hook to weig it through the gills if you got a monster. The build quality is fantastic and it it is spot on on accuracy when you weigh the fish. Its super easy to use and it functions flawlessly. I used it the next morning I recieved it ( it was only a 2lb 2 oz. bass) but I cant wait to weigh my 6+ lb PB someday on it !

Excellent Scale
This scale works great, easy to use and very handy. I use it all the time and I like it a lot more then the Rapala scale that I have without a lip clamp.

Almost perfect
Scale works great but the actual clip to hold the fish when weighing is not as efficient as a standard spring loaded clip. Simple fix by adding old clip from previous scale. Well lit and easy to use and great display

Does the job well.
So far so good. I have only weight a few fish up to about 12 lbs. I also tested it lifting a range of weights with it always returning accurate values. Hopefully I will have a few bigger fish soon to test higher weights. I also fished a pretty misty rainy day where I left it out on the boat most of the day with no performance issues. It is a bit bigger than some which allows a good grip but makes it a little big for most pockets. I will update the post if anything changes.

La báscula tiene un diseño genial. El problema fue que después de 2 semanas de uso, varios de los segmentos de la pantalla empezaron a hacerse más tenues hasta desaparecer completamente. Quedó inservible.

Every fishing trip eventually arrives at the same moment. The fish is landed. The net is dripping. Three grown men suddenly become mathematicians. “Five pounds.” “No way. That’s six.” “Closer to seven if we’re being fair about it.” Fishing has always been a sport built on optimism. But optimism, like a leaky boat plug, occasionally needs supervision. Enter the KastKing WideView Floating Fish Scale. It’s a curious little device. Not flashy. Not dramatic. Just a sturdy instrument with a large, bright screen and the quiet confidence of something designed for people who spend their mornings standing in boats. The display is big enough to read without squinting. Even in bright sunlight, when the lake is throwing reflections around like broken mirrors, the numbers show up clear and decisive. No guesswork. No interpretation. Just the weight. The handle feels solid in the hand, rubberized so it won’t slip when your fingers are wet or fish-slime coated. Which, if you fish regularly, is less a possibility and more a guarantee. Hook the scale onto the fish. Lift. For a brief moment, the fish hangs in the air like it’s reconsidering its career choices. Then the number settles. And the debate ends. One clever detail reveals itself the first time gravity wins and the scale slips from your hand. Instead of vanishing into the depths like so many pliers, sunglasses, and measuring tapes before it… it floats. Not dramatically. Just a calm little bob at the surface, waiting to be retrieved by someone who now looks much less panicked. The scale can handle serious weight too. Big fish, small fish, the occasional monster that requires both hands and a victory speech. It even remembers previous weights, which means you can keep track of the day’s haul without scribbling numbers on a damp napkin or relying on the famously unreliable memory of fishermen. Picture the scene. The sun is sliding toward the horizon. The lake is quiet. The last fish of the day comes over the rail. You hook the scale on. Lift. The number appears. Four pounds, twelve ounces. Your buddy nods slowly. The exaggerated story forming in his head shrinks just a little. Because this small floating device has done something remarkable. It introduced honesty into a fishing boat. A tough, practical fish scale that settles arguments, survives the water, and quietly becomes one of the most useful tools in the boat. Five stars. Because every great fishing story deserves one small inconvenient detail. The truth.
