A must read. Worth buying!!
The media could not be loaded. Book quality- Paperback book, page's are of good quality. Readable font size.Book review- This story is set to happen seven years before They both die at the end. Deathcast is to make its debut on the 31st of July 2010. Orion Pagan, an 18 year old writer, who is dealing with a heart condition, has always been in constant fear of untimely death thinks that Death cast might call him today. On the eve of the Death cast premiere, he decides to attend the inaugural function with his best friend, Dalma. Valentino Prince on the other hand is a handsome model who moved to New York City to make his modelling career with his twin sister and believes that Death cast won't be calling him today as he feels reborn. He too decides to take a tour and attend the Death cast premiere. Where he meets Orion and Dalma, and they decide to spend their time together and get to know about each other. As the midnight rolls around, Joaquin Rosa, the creator of Death cast gets ready to call the first Decker. As he picks up the phone and dials to first Decker, the phone begins to ring among the group of three just met friends. And soon gunshots can be heard echoing and chaos unleashes.I won't give any spoilers because it is an experience that you won't understand until and unless to yourself go through it.For me it was way better than they both die at the end, in terms of emotions. I felt everything deeply and was having a hard time healing from the tragedy.A must read!!

Heartbreaking
I loved they both die at the end. So I was waiting for this book. I was kind of scared it wouldn't live up to the first book but I was wrong. This is equally amazing. I got really attached to Valentino and Orian and their story is sooo beautiful but more than that it was soo heartbreaking 😭. It wrecked my heart. I balled my eyes out in the end. I will always love this book and Valentino and Orian ❤️❤️. Please read it. Just buy it. You won't be disappointed. In the product details it's given that this book has 368 pages but the book was actually 550 pages.

OH MY GOD!!!
Finally finally done with this book, an anticipated read since so long and I’ve honestly never been happier. I read the other book, “They Both Die At The End” some 2 years back, and that was like a very impulsive read to be honest, which I ended up loving. When I got to know about the prequel of that book i.e. The first to die at the end, I was on cloud nine. I mean who wouldn’t be??? The first book broke my heart and I expected something similar from the prequel too, but it wasn’t THAT sad tbh.The book basically starts with the inauguration of the whole Death Cast thing and that’s when the two protagonists meet each other for the first time in Times Square, NY and they immediately click. However, the first call from Death Call is made to one of the two protagonists and that bit was pretty ironic. However, the two protagonists set out to make the most of their remaining time together and they go around the city celebrating and creating several firsts together. I love the detailing and the sentiments and all the emotions attached to the scenes where they captured their first moments together. The best part about this book is that the story doesn’t revolve alone around the two protagonists, but it also has multiple POVs. I love how all the characters were intertwined in a way without even knowing and if you’ve read They Both Die At The End, you’ll love this – cuz there have been mentions of Rufus and Emeterio. The best part of so many characters is how the author goes into the details of all their lives and doesn’t solely focus on the two main protagonists. All in all I loved this book, not as much as I loved They Both Die At The End, but loved it nevertheless. Also, took me awfully long to finish this cuz law school isn’t easy y’all. Thank you so much simon and schuster India for sending across this review copy and being this patient all along, grateful !!

a great love story
This was totally out of the norm for me. The love story was great, the story was fast moving and just enough futuristic.A quick read, would be great in a holiday, I’m looking forward to the second story.

Great book by beloved author
After the book was finished, in his acknowledgment, Adam Silvera wrote: "This book tried to end me"...I understand perfectly what must have been happening in his heart, what emotions raged in him every day, every hour, every minute when he was working on his new novel, if, after passing through the filters of words and consciousness, a storm of emotions flares up in your heart. This is a wonderful book. The plot unwinds like a spring. The feelings and actions of the characters are often unexpected and convincing, events are predictable, and at the same time unpredictable. Also, I would define this book for myself as a New York novel. But that doesn't mean the book is written just for New Yorkers. Readers who know New York will find an extra "dimension" in this book. And not only because the action takes place in New York and the descriptions of the various parts of this city are incredibly "live", voluminous, and filled with accurate, vivid, memorable details. It's like a high-definition picture of NYC.Each chapter of the novel, each of its episodes, is like the windows of a New York high-rise building glowing in the evening. At first, it seems that all these windows are similar to each other. They all seem to "glow with the same light". But in fact, every window has its own life, not like the others. Behind each window, there are different destinies, different hopes, different joys, and sorrows. However, in some strange and mysterious way, these destinies are intertwined, imperceptibly connected. And it becomes gradually clearer and clearer that we, people, are connected - without even realizing it - with each other by hundreds of threads. This book is a hymn to love, which is stronger than death. Despite the tragedy of events, the optimism and beauty of this book are that people can rise above circumstances and, in the end, be unbroken and happy in the highest sense of this word.It is another great book written by a beloved author. I highly recommend reading it and reflecting on the many implications of its deep and vibrant story.

Incredible, heartwarming, sad but full of love
This is soooooo much better than the first book, the story is absolutely heartbreaking and heartwarming. The love experienced by the characters is so beautifully written, when a book makes you cry, several times, it’s a testament to the authors skills. Amazing!
