I bought these to replace my broken electric ones that I’ve had for a few years. They bring me so much joy, which is probably more an indication of how sad my life is. They do take a lot of batteries however they are so satisfying to use - just turn them upside down. It’s flipping magic! And no mess as they stand upright with the mill bit at the top. Other grinders I have had are the other way round so collect spillage at the bottom. And they look stylish too!

I would have liked the pepper to have a more finer gind, and I personally would have liked a dust cap lid on them, but that's just me being fussy, overall very nice stylish grinders and look very nice on my worktop

The media could not be loaded.  After having a LIDL branded set (Silvercrest) for a while, I wanted a better set with better build quality that was more practical to top-up as there Silvercrest has a very narrow opening for you to drop the salt/pepper into.This one ticks all the boxes: the build quality is solid, you can easily top it up as the container can easily be unscrewed without having to remove the top cover that houses the batteries, and you can set the coarseness level.The video and picture is with the grinder set all the way clockwise (maximum coarseness, thinnest grains).I took for granted it would be easy to find a lot of good options online for this item but was surprised at the high cost and poor design of most. This strikes the best balance in terms of good quality at an affordable price. Very happy with this.

Ok but the salt regularly gets blocked and you have to dismantle to get it to work again

Ive had numerous battery powered pepper and salt machine and this one is by far the best one. it appears gravity fed and very easy to use. My mother who is a senior citizen loves using it and that tells you how good the product is.

Great product. I love fresh crushed pepper but have arthritis and twisting previously owned pepper mills was painful. Problem solved with these babies.* The salt shaker stopped working. Put new batteries, cleaned it, no help. It’s finished. No longevity on this product.

Takes a lot of batteries, which is fine, but one set we purchased quickly failed. Good while they work, though.

Don't know how I lived without these. The perfect accessory to my kitchen. Worth the price.
