SealLineBaja Dry Bag

I live in Hawaii. I spend several days each week snorkeling the vast reef systems here. I dont leave my stuff on the beach. I take everything with me in my dry bag. I tether this bag to my waist and hit the coral reefs. I regularly snorkel in water as deep as only 16 inches. With this bag floating behind me containing all my personal effects, I get hit by fairly large waves. The dry bag and myself sometimes get hit and tumbled by waves across the reef. The reef is sharp. However, my SealLine Baja bag has never disappointed me. As you can see by the photo, it has seen alot of sun. It's now orange, instead of the original yellow.Hundreds of hours in the water with waves rolling me across coral, yet no leaks. The connector is still good. I am buying this new replacement out of sensible security, and will retire my 5 year bag as a back-up. I am fully impressed and confident. Will always recommend for aggressive water sports. It can take a beating, and still remain dry inside.

I've used this bag a total of two times, and the seam that connects the bottom panel to the colored portion of the bag is already torn. Unfortunately I purchased it just over a month ago, so I can't return it to Amazon.And while SealLine has a lifetime warranty, I'm responsible for the shipping costs. And their warranty claims department is contracted out to some third party, so there's chance they'll take care of the shipping. So for a $24 dry bag, I'm better off just buying a new one. But I know the new one won't be made by SealLine.

I took this bag to the beach and let it float behind me as I was snorkeling. I put a towel, my phone, wallet, sunscreen, extra mask, etc. inside. When I got done snorkeling, my phone and wallet were dry, but the towel had some damp spots. So evidently a small amount of water got in. The bag worked great to keep most of the water out, and was great as a beach bag to keep my stuff out of the sand. Also worked great for keeping my stuff dry on a speed boat ride where I wasn't aware that my bag was getting splashed. Everything inside was fine. But only 4 stars.

Simply one of the best dry bags out there. SUPER heavy duty, bomb proof construction. Great clasps, comes with a cinch strap. They are not as compact and packable as a lighter grade Outdoor Research bag, but they are about 1000% more durable and waterproof. If you're looking for a bag that is going to stay dry - this is it. I would rank SeaLine and NSR as the top two companies making this type of bag. I use one of these + an odor Loksak for hanging food in the backcountry in the Pacific NW where waterproof gear can be pushed to the limit. So far SeaLine has not failed me.Buy it and don't look back.

This bag held up on the James River for a 2.5hr tubing experience. We floated the bag behind the tub for most of the time and at one point it was up on the tub with the coolers. It held all of the important things like money, cell phones, and car keys. By the end of the tubing there was a small amount of moisture in the bag, maybe a “bottle cap full,” for comparison. We did place the phones inside with a SEPARATE zip lock sealed bag just in case and everything survived just fine with no incidents. The bag is not recommended for submersion as stated in the description but it did exceptionally well! I would trust this bag for many more water adventures and the vibrant yellow makes it super easy to spot in case it gets away from us. The class on the top is very trustworthy and there is a loop on the side for easy attachment to other objects.

My son used this bag on a two week camping trip to the Apostle Islands in Northern Wisconsin. The bag got dunked in Lake Superior, dragged through campsites, dropped and abused. It survived multiple heavy splashes. The bags contents were always kept dry. The bag returned home looking almost good as new. The bag worked flawlessly and looks like it will likely last for many, many years. I plan on buying more.

I was looking for a high quality dry bag to take out on my kayak with me and this brand was recommended to me from countless people in a local kayaking group. Today when my package arrived, I was quickly surprised with just how nice of quality and thick these bags are. They will definitely not rip or tear from any branches, sharp rocks, or even a bit of an overloaded sack. I recommend this if you’re looking for something that will last you a long time. Can’t wait to get out on the lake!

I've had larger versions of the SeaLine dry bags for years. I tried another (cheaper) brand that failed to live up to the standard for waterproof set by SeaLine so I corrected my error and bought the original that simply works. They are tough and really keep things dry.

Deux descentes de rivière jusqu'à présent, le premier était un test avec des feuilles de papiers pour observer si il y avait des traces d'humidité. Aucun problème les deux fois sauf une espèce de condensation sur les parrois mais aucune infiltration d'eau. Je l'ai forcer à aller sous l'eau plusieurs fois pour être sûr de la qualité et je mettrais mon téléphone sans peur!

Ich habe diese Marke zum erstenmal 1995 in Kanada entdeckt (ohne Internet im Moutain Equipment Coop) und mir als Zusatzgepäck für den Rückflug einen 55 Liter Sack gekauft. Seitdem ist dieser in Gebrauch und immernoch in einem super Zustand. Da lag es nur nahe die Marke 'wiederzufinden' und einen weiteren kleinen zu besorgen. Bin nicht enttäuscht worden.

Keeps my floater suit and 2 mustand inflatable life jackets in it ...stays organized and dry well worth the money..bought this one on advice of my niebour who has had his for 20 years..

Very nice bag, easy to fold, very soft and waterproof. would buy it again.
