LEGO Ninjago #5: Kingdom of the Snakes Paperback – October 30, 2012

My Sons love these books, read like comics and are entertaining. My 5 year old and 8 year old both like these books. Entertaining and a quick 30 min read together. 8 year old can read them on his own.

Gotta have them ALL!!!! Have reviewed today books 1/2/3 and now 5 ( son already had #4) . These are so terriffic for my boys and this series just keeps gettin better with every new volume and I know I've made a great investment in my children's future with these books. We have book 1-5 now and even though the boys have huge bookshelves overflowing with books, they ( 8 & 4 ) are caught sitting with these CONSTANTLY. I've read them all as well since my 4 year old is just starting to read on his own but nothing as grand as this yet, and I as an adult get caught up in the story line as well and before you know it you are at the end of the book and if you don't have the next one in the series, well your no longer popular with your kids. I will be buying the next one's in the series and doing so right here. You can't beat the price here nor the shipping speed or how well the product is intact when it arrives than from this very spot. The #4 book that started this frenzy for my son came from an overpriced book fair and in already browsed thru condition. So I buy from the source I trust most (HERE) and best price/quality/value.

my 9 year old started liking the ninjago toys first, and then after reading the ninjago comics, he grew to like the toys even more! don't know if that's a good thing or not?! ;) the quality of this comic is good though, colorful glossy pages throughout. he gives this book a 4 star, as he said he likes #4 more than this one. but he still likes this book a lot.

My first grader was a more reluctant reader than his older sister; however, once he discovered the graphic novel genre, he was hooked. What boy doesn't like Legos and ninjas? This series combines the two. I'm a high school English teacher that knows the importance of getting kids hooked on reading while they're young (since few students read by the time they get to me). This series will engage your young reader. (This series caters to male readers, but our third grade daughter has enjoyed them all, too!) My favorite element to these books is that they use a much larger vocabulary than the traditional early readers, so my son is actually ahead of where he is expected to be in reading at school.

We are going to continue going through the entire series with the same ratings, WE LOVE THESE BOOKS!!! These are my 7 year old's first graphic novels and they are his favorite set of books. I admit that I really enjoy them, too. We are both Ninjago fans and we look forward to every next book in the series. Just can't go wrong. Only thing I can say negative about it is small small print, but being a graphic novel, I guess it is the nature of the beast- parents, get out your magnifiers! And enjoy these with your kids.

These are great little books. They have humor, action, adventure, and fun graphics for kids. This is an exciting book series for new readers.

Another great story from Ninjago. Jay has had enough with his friends, so he takes a flight to clear his mind. In an electrical storm he soon finds himself in a world where the ninja team were never formed! If Jay wants to return home, he'll have to unite this worlds ninja to face off the serpentine.

My son is an absolute ninjago fan. This was a great addition to his book library.

Dyslexic daughter loves these graphic novels featuring her favourite characters. More please!!

My son is five and he loves Lego Ninjago. He is not quite ready for the ninjago chapter books so this comic book stlye series was perfect for him. They are exciting and adventurous and my boy was glued to each page. All his favourite characters were in each book, the pitures are awesome and the text is really fun. We read them over and over again and they keep his attention better than the novels because of the action packed pages.

Exactly as expected

My son is 10 years old and we got him this book for a trip. He loved it. Lots of fun things to do.
