Thought the prop.didnt fit changes a Aluminumprop 25 pitch for a 19 pitch on a 250 Mercury ....Prop is out of the hole great performance!!!!

I removed the old 3 blade, 21 pitch slug, replaced it with this unit, and my 28 foot cruiser suddenly came to life again~! I now get on step with half the effort and power and immediately gained 5 mph at full throttle. I also dropped about 400 rpm at cruise and gained speed there as well. This great Prop more than paid for itself within the first 10 hours of service in just fuel savings alone. When you have a boat the size and weight of this vessel category, you need all the help you can get. In this case, I FOUND that help and will never go back to the old style again. (I will keep the old prop as an emergency spare only, from here on.)

I went from a 3 blade prop to this 4 blade. First time I'd ever put a 4 blade prop on. What a difference as the boat seemed to plane much quicker and ran smoother.

This is not the propeller that belongs on my boat. Even though the numbers I put into their guide came directly off the propeller on my boat. It was visually different (4 blades instead of 3) but did fit. I went back to their website and double checked the guide. It does not work well at all on my boat. Creates enormous bubble trails which make the RPMs rev up to high. I will have to loose my money on yet another amazon product. I did not attempt refund. I did not keep the box it was shipped in. I learned long ago the refund process is just not worth the time and effort as most of the request I ever made were denied. Or it cost me the same amount to send back. Just another bad purchase.

Prop looks nice, good build quality. I replaced an 18P Alpha-4 prop with this 19P "ChiNemesis" prop, hole-shot barely effected (tad slower) and the boat picked up 2 MPH at cruise and WOT. Prop run smoooooth, no perceptible vibration.I used some of the old prop's hardware as I don't like the newly designed prop nut lock. Thrust washer in my old prop had no side to side play, but there is a tiny bit of play side-side play with both the supplied thrust washer and my old thrust washer (.010"? guessing). (Probably due to the paint being slightly thinner that speced during manufacture). Prop still runs smooth as butter.I knocked off 1 star as I'm betting they shipped a Quicksilver Nemesis prop to China and had them duplicate the prop, ripping off Mercury's R&D for blade geometry . I really didn't need the prop as my old one was just fine, but for $80.............
