BVTech 24 Port PoE+ Switch with 2 Gigabit Ethernet or SFP Uplink, Long Range | POE-SW2402

Two things I like about this product: One is the fan-less design that not only provides a quite working environment but also gives me worry free for future exhausted fan replacement. The other one is the PD Detection design that let me feel so comfortable to use with my non-PoE devices. One more thing is the 2 uplink ports design that makes it easy for me to link two network trunks. The tech support guy is so experienced, knowledgeable, and friendly. He not only pointed out my issue right away but also gave me the proper suggestions and solutions to help me to finish setting up my surveillance camera system.

Nice little PoE switch for the money. Running a couple of IP cameras and a handful or regular drops in my house and working great so for. Fanless design makes my wife happy since it's mounted in the living room and the other one had dual cooling fans so the living room always had the constant hum of them running, so this was a nice shift.

Worked fine while it lasted, which was just under four years. However, it recently died and two of the cameras that were working on it are now dead ( confirmed with camera manufacturer tech support). I'm guessing the power supply blew out and took those cameras with it but can't confirm that suspicion. I'm sure all these cheap brands are pretty similar. I thought about buying another cheap one but it appears the up-front savings on the cheap switch cost me over $200 in cameras. So, I'm down about $100 overall. Live and learn, again.

Just like everyone else here, I'm running several ip-cameras off the poe and filled up the rest of the ports with regular devices. I also got 2 servers running off the 2 gigabit ports and bandwidth seems fine. It's silent, it doesn't even feel hot to the touch, and performs well. I just bought a second one - for the price it was great. Oddly enough the day after I got it, I see the price went up $30. Oops sorry y'all :D

Product worked well and suited our needs perfectly. However, after nearly 13 months of use, the product failed to power on. After calling BVTech, they said that the item was out of warranty (1yr) however, they would give me an extension. They are replacing the product. So even tho the product failed, I am giving 5 stars because of the fantastic no hassle customer service.

Have purchased 4 POE switches so far from BV Tech. They set up and operate fine, but 2 have had failed ports within months and weeks of purchase.One switch had 4 failed ports within 2 weeks, (not providing POE or data connection) on the other one (the 8 port model) 3 ports failed within several months. When I pulled out the boxes and manuals, there are NO TELEPHONE NUMBERS, NO MAILING ADDRESS, NO WEB URL to contact the company. Nothing listed in the manual, or the box, or the units themselves. I called Amazon, and they could not find any contact information to reach the company!?!?!The purchase page shows a one year "US based" warranty and "lifetime tech support":Our technicians are ready to help by phone9:00AM to 5:00PM Central Standard Time(Monday through Friday).No phone number is listed on the Amazon page either. When I posted a question through Amazon asking how to contact customer care, I got no reply. Not sure what is going on here, but I have serious questions. Amazon finally took the items back and footed the bill, but that is not how this should work. BV Tech seems to have some work to do if they want to be a reputable company. List phone numbers on your units and manuals!If anyone knows how to the reach the company, I have the question posted somewhere on this unit. Please reply.

I use this for live music application. I wanted a cheaper solution to connecting multiple Allen and Heath Me-1 units together over POE. This is perfect. The Allen and Heath version of this will cost you £1300 and this unit does the same job and gives you more ports.I have used this now on several shows without any issues so if anyone is looking at a similar solution I can highly recommend this unit. I tried 2 cheaper units but they didn't work. Fits in a rack perfectly too!!!

I have put several of these units and they work as advertised. Great price and shipped in good packing. I have had units in for over two years still running great. I use them for VoIP phones

non so e stato sfortunato e una cosa normale che si succede ho comprato questa Poe switch in mese di estate 2017 ieri dopo mi cade corrente di casa non si accende più,mi veniva il dubbio magari e il cavo da cambiare, dopo utilizzo il nuovo cavo di alimentazione non va lo stesso allora vuole dire e stata danneggiata bruciata.

Non funziona più!!

This is not a lot of money for 16 POE ports and 2 x 1Gb uplink ports. Solidly made, worked out of the box and silent. It's the hub of my new (Hikvision) POE CCTV and access control system which even idiots like me can set up. BV Security may not be a well-known name in the UK but they're pretty big in the USA and I commend them on a well-made product and their disruptive pricing.
