A Dot Markers & Paint Daubers Kids Activity Book: Learn as you play: Do a dot page a day (Animals)

Based on the super cute sheep on the cover, I figured all the illustrations inside would be similar. Wow, was I wrong. Some of them are OK--but not OK enough to make up for the others, which are downright creepy. (See photo.) To make sure I wasn't just being overly critical, I asked for opinions from a number of people and got the same look of horror each time. I really wanted to like this activity book, but ... no. Just no.

This is a cute dot dot book but unfortunately the pages are thin so if your dot marker has a lot of ink it seeps through to the next page. Also there’s only an animal on the page and no background where you could dot a sun or something.

I felt this book was okay-it features different animals with circles for your child to use dot pen paint with. The dots for the animals are fine, but the animals name is also written in circles and the circles are too small for the dot pen. Also, the pages are not extra thick so some of the ink will bleed through to the back of the page. I’m not super disappointed with the purchase because there are few of these workbooks out there, but I feel there could be some improvements.

Nice big circles for little hands to practice hand eye coordination. Thick paper - my son used a heavy hand and while the paint color shows through the back a bit, it never got on the counter

I use this for speech therapy. You can make your own adaptations to it to fit individual goals. I only wish there was a little more variety in pictures in the book, but overall, very fun and effective tool!

Perfect art medium for 3-5 year old budding artists! Easy patterns that are big enough for young ones to hit the mark! Fun with bright daubers!

Pics are all fun and kids enjoyed doing them. Like how easy it is to remove from book so both kids can work at the same time without being on top of one another

I have previously used crayons and oil paints for my artwork. After buying these, the quality of my art has increased massively, with one of my pieces on display at the Tate Modern art gallery in London. Although intended for children, they can be used by all ages.

Recommended by my daughter- in-law as her toddlers (3 and 2) love this and can create good quality pictures
