Great follow up tool
I have seen other products SMALLER than this, however, Barklo is marketing this collar as the smallest on Amazon and it is NOT. My belief is --- You get what you pay for. I tried a different shock collar for barking, but it was just too much for my baby chihuahua's. I bought one of the barklo collars, and for me this item is working perfectly. However, my babies were introduced to a real shock collar that hurt, after the beep; so now the beep is all they need to cut the barking down to one bark. In fact, they haven't even gone into the vibrate mode to scare them from barking -- just beeps. We had incessant barking all the time and only one collar seems to work for the whole household, LOL. We have added "NO BARK" at every beep and we have silence. My success is most likely due to the fact, we tried a shock collar first. However, with a lot of training (I have 9 chihuahua's so if one barks they all bark) this collar would work best for timid dogs or those that are frightened easily. For those doggies where a beep would mean nothing and then followed by a little vibration, then you should pick a different collar with a different reprimand for incessant barking. Kindly remember, that ANY collar you might use, is not a substitute for "training". These collars are to be used WITH consistent training.

Slipage an issue but overall happy so far!
Bought four of these for my four min pin mix dogs - 2 boys, 2 girls. The 2 girls are the bigger barkers in the house. We are having a baby in January and are looking for a humane way to curb the barking these guys can put out at all hours of the night.Packaging was not very impressive for the $30/unit price and the quality felt a little “meh” cheap plastic as well. My expectations were low. We just received them, put them on, centered them on the necks and it’s been about 20 minutes. The biggest issue we’ve seen is that the collars do not stay centered on the front of the neck - they move off to the side and the collars are already pretty tight. The instructions specifically say that the device needs to be on the front of the neck. It would be great if they had silicone backing on the device to help prevent slippage. This is the cause of the four stars instead of five. That being said, we’ve already noticed an improvement. Instead of long repetitive high pitched barks. They are low grumbles that are fewer and far between. From rooms away we can hear a low growl and the beep from the device showing that it’s working. If this lasts, we’re both happy with the purchase. If they end up not functioning we’ll due to the slipping or if they end up chewing them off of each other - I am going to cry - and then update my review for you guys.Happy so far!

Works when in place, but won't stay in place
When the collar is in the correct position, it works wonderfully. However, the collar will not stay in correct position at the recommended tightness on either of my small dogs (7lb and 11lb). Unless I was willing to tighten it so tight you can't get a finger inside the collar or it chokes the dog (which I am not going to do), it will not stay put. This causes the collar to not work frequently, as it has moved to the side of the neck. We have been trying for weeks to find the balance between tightness of the collar for function vs, the dog's comfort and safety, but have had no success. It has also registered when another dog barks very close beside mine on several occasions, even with the sensitivity turned down from default. This was very disappointing, as it was a major selling point for me that it was not supposed to do that.I would say its only good if your dog's neck and behavior allows it to stay in position at the recommended tightness, which appears to be neither of my small dogs.

This Thing Worked
So, I adopted a tiny, 3 month old miniature poodle mix from a shelter. She's crate trained, and happily spends time there during the day. Generally, she's so quiet that I have to go hunting for her. I feel I should add here that my puppy is, overall, no shrinking violet. She is curious and pretty fearless. Whether this has contributed to our experience with this collar or not, I have no way of knowing.A recent layoff, holiday season, record cold weather, and lack of foresight kept me mostly at home. My puppy and I bonded. We really bonded. Kiddo reasonably concluded that we were a pack. All was copacetic, until I dared to leave. Then my silent puppy became a barking, howling menace. Though she seemed comfortably ensconced in her crate, was fed, exercised, and emptied, though she had the most engaging toys and a full, delicious Kong, though I followed the trainer's advice of no salutations coming or going, there was no way she'd quietly accept me walking out the door. Miss Kiddo wasn't having it.I live in the city, in an apartment building, on the 3rd floor. After sneaking out for 15-30 minutes, I'd walk into the building and hear her as soon as I entered the vestibule. As understanding as my neighbors are, I couldn't expect them to stay good natured, listening to a distressed puppy. Worse still, after even such a short time, Kiddo was sitting in her crate looking overwrought and miserable. My vet suggested a citronella collar, but after watching dozens of videos, I'm convinced that they're well-intended, but probably somewhat cruel; spraying that intense scent up a dog's exquisitely sensitive nose didn't seem right. I looked around on Amazon, found, and ordered this collar. It arrived quickly, but once it was here, I was a bit plagued with the guilt of inflicting the device on my pup.I consulted a dog behavioralist who told me, emphatically, not to use a no-bark collar of any kind. "The dog will be traumatized by it", she said. "She'll associate that trauma with her crate or, worse still, with your leaving, and the problem will expand and worsen." She offered suggestions as to how to handle the separation: the very same techniques I'd already tried.Back to the training videos on YouTube. One, in particular, spoke to me. "You're not there to correct the dog", the trainer said. "The only solution is a no-bark collar." I took the collar out of its box, turned it on, put it to my throat, and did my best imitation of a bark. Before the first woof left my throat, the device sounded its tone. A serious, mid-range tone, not particularly loud. I kept barking; the tones got progressively longer and, after three times, the device vibrated, much like the vibration from a smartphone, but probably less intense. None of it seemed too jarring, more just insistent. While I was barking and beeping, Kiddo came over to watch. She tipped her head and started to whine at the collar. Weirdly, she seemed to want it, because when I offered to put it on her, she sat very still and wagged her tail. She wore it happily, running around the apartment, playing with her Lambchop, growling at her tug toy; it did not go off. Finally I crated her and went to take a shower. Coming out, I heard a whine and then a tone. Her whining stopped. Later, I went out for my 20 minute trial and came back to.... silence. Not only that, but my puppy was lying down in her crate, looking as if I'd awakened her. She came out of her crate happy and calm. Since that first time, I've been in the room on the rare occasion when Kiddo has let out a yip that set off the device. I've watched as she's stopped and cocked her head at the tone. It seems like a what-the-heck moment for her. Not frightening, just attention getting. She goes on with her play, just not with the barking. My conclusion: this thing worked. Not only that, but I believe that Kiddo's barking was actually amping up her anxiety. With this collar telling her not to bark, she seemed better able to calm herself. I actually believe that this device is far less cruel to my puppy than letting her bark. I'm certain my neighbors are happier. If only every problem had so easy a solution.

Collier anti aboiement

Best collar for our 14pds dog
Being a volunteer for rescue organisations I wanted a color that was efficient but not intrusive like chock collars. For a 14pds miniature schnauzer I thought this one would be the way to go. After reading reviews I bought it.The dog was suffering of being abandoned and when she did not see us she would scream yet we were in another room! We followed the process in the booklet 2 days wearing the collar when the dog barks you say no. After the 48 hours you turn it on and continue the same command. There are different levels which are great for progressive correction. After 5 days the dog associated no with a possibility of high vibration and is stops. I highly recommend it and it has no prongs so much more comfortable to use plus it is rechargeable.

Works alright while wearing it
It works when he has it on. He's associated the beeping and knows what will happen if he barks again. He still has gotten a vibration once or twice though. I wish the collar could be even more sensitive though cause i have a yorkshire with lots of hair and he still manages to do a half bark at lower tone which doesnt trigger a beep from the collar.

Not as effective or loud .
I originally ordered the one in the pic provided , it worked well except when to replacing the battery , the second one I ordered was not as effective but I like the recharging feature as I don’t need a special tool to take the battery out .
