4 Pack of water cups are perfect for most small backyard flocks up to 12 full grown chickens. This model is perfect attaching buckets, pipes, barrels, and most anything you can think of. Cups are super easy to clean with a swoop of one finger and a turn of the cup and your all done. The water level stays at 1/3 height of the cup so when the bird takes a drink it will bump the yellow trigger to release more water into the cup. These are made for low pressure 5 psi or under any attachment to the house watering system would need a pressure regulator.

I'm so so sooooooo happy with these water cups
I'm so so sooooooo happy with these water cups!! They helped me solve my muddy chicken coop problem. Before I was having to dump put the containers twice a day because the chickens were walking and pooping in the water. Now with these I just set up the water barrel and forget about it. They are very easy to use and easy to keep clean. The chickens were able to figure out how to drink from them quickly. And I'm not having to constantly clean out water containers. I'm so happy and will be ordering more for my other coops!!

Not very impressed with how tight the valve seal is ...
Not very impressed with how tight the valve seal is. Valve has to be held down almost all the way to get any water to fill the bowl. Chickens have used it for 3 days and still can’t get enough water until I Fill it up manually.

Apparently my chickens are stupid.
These threaded stems are too short to fit SCH-80 (thick-wall) PVC pipes, and the threads are super-weak (strip). 2 of these never flowed any water (human) no matter what I did, and none of my chickens have figured out how to hit the yellow plunger to get their own water 2-weeks later. I have 6-foot of head water, which is 2.6psi, which is right in the recommended sweet-spot. I had to silicone the nut/body through-hole to stop it from leaking. Seems like a good concept, failed execution.

Don’t buy them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought this chicken water and cups a few weeks before I needed them. I finally installed them in the chicken coop and they do not work at all. I know the PSI is right because it’s more than what they asked for so it should push the water out. With my finger it works if I sit there, but not with the chickens. Chickens are very thirsty when I get home from work and I need to keep the old water dispenser in the coop or they would probably dehydrate. Not very happy that someone would sell such hot garbage. I agree with others that it is a great idea, but If it doesn’t work what good is it.

DON'T BUY THESE... spend the extra couple bucks and buy a quality product.
i am new to the world of chicken water cups (and chickens for that matter) but these cups are not worth the plastic bag they arrived in. After all the videos Ive seen of how people are using water cups and loving them I know that or the different options available I made my purchaes based on the price alone which is a big mistake. Now I am going to purchase some of the nicer more well made water cups and I have faith that they will not have the MANY issues that these cheapo made in china water cups have. DON'T BUY THESE... spend the extra couple bucks and buy a quality product.

Can you insure that when the chicken pushes down water is released
I love the idea and cup design. Now if they could only make it functional. The set I received was reversed. What I mean by reverse is that you either had to pull up or push up on the yellow center for it to release water. I would love to get a set that when the chicken pecks or pressed down on the yellow lever water is released. Once that issue is solved you will have a wonderful product.

Don't refill by pushing down. Poor design.
I know chickens have a brain the size of a pea, but they are usually pretty resourceful when it comes to food and drink. These appear to be well built, but need to be pushed sideways to refill the bowl and my girls can't figure it out. I tried to put a black mark on them to get them to peck at it, but to no avail.

Completely useless for watering chickens
The water does not refill after the chickens drink what is in the red cups. At the end of the day, the red cups are empty and my chickens are thirsty. If I push the yellow lever back up into the container, the water comes out. If I push it with the movement of a chicken drinking, it does not come out.
