I lost the splash shield after it was torn off by water on a flooded roadway. After I have the original shield replaced, I'll use these in the wheel wells to reduce tire sing and road noise.

Nothing about this product was usefully, especially as a muffler wrap, it fell off on first drive

This seems like a pretty good sound deadening. Nice and think, and does appear to help reduce noise in my truck. Good value compared to other more well known brands. This was my first install and was a bit difficult to get it set just right, but I tried to leave it all in one piece as much as possible, so its possible it would have been easier with more experience, and if I cut it into smaller pieces.

I've needed to apply this sound deadening insulation mat for a looooooonnnnnng time... IT IS TOTALLY WORTH IT!!It made such a huge difference, and I'm wondering why I didn't do it long ago. Not only has it majorly helped my sound system, but it also made a huge difference as far as road noise goes.The only little tiny thing I could find about it was that wasn't the best was the actual thickness of the actual material. But I know that the thickness of the material is what makes it so good. Also, it's not as elastic as I thought it was, and when I was rolling it out I marred up the silver lining a little, but it still works just fine.If this is something you've been wanting to do this for a while I recommend checking this out.
