The brush must first pass through the narrow entry before it can fit freely into the main opening. I believe this situation could have been avoided if the description had specified that the stand is suitable for brushes with a knot size up to 24.5mm. Due to this discrepancy, I am returning the item. The quality of the stand itself is excellent, and I have no complaints about it. However, because of the inaccurate description, I can only give it one star.
