Great way to start the conversation. Both my seniors took personal finance in high school but reaffirming the concepts from a personal perspective for our family is key. They will be both starting different colleges in the fall and money is not unlimited. Slowly we are starting on budgets and discussing making choices. Learning about money is a life long pursuit and the sooner we can do it with our high school kids the better because we want them to be independent financially when they leave college.

Brought it for a class, some information seems very obvious and others seems out of date. It’s a quick read with large text and excerpts of people’s personal options and experiences.

I’m sure the book is great, the kids haven’t read it yet, but what happened?? That CD workbook is damaged beyond use, which means I’m not getting the full value of the price I paid.

I bought this for teenagers in the family--my granddaughter and great-niece as part of their birthday gifts. Not sure how they liked it. Their parents were impressed though.
