This facial interface has it all. It's wide, it's padded with extremely soft foam, and it's incredibly comfortable. Even without the fan it's the most comfortable face pad I've ever used on any VR headset system.The fan though, while not strong, does it's job very well. It stops any fog build up, and keeps sweat way down to a minimum. It lasts longer than you'll ever need when playing VR games, and the intermittent mode helps it last even longer while not blowing on your nosebridge constantly.Highly recommend it! It will solve a lot of your issues with this VR headset if you have problems with comfort, lens fog, or both.

When the 'facial interface' that came with my Oculus 2 wore out, I tried a number of different solutions. FIrst I tried a silicone cushion cover. That was hot, sweaty and uncomfortable. Then I bought a "cooling' face pad that theoretically was compatible with Oculus 2. It was not. It wouldn't 'snap' onto the Oculus and forced the headset into a position where I couldn't maintain focus without cranking the headstrap uncomfortably tight.While I just got this cover with fan today, it clipped right in and I easily found a comfortable position on my face. The leather covering was much better than the standard neoprene or latex. A quick charge let me use it for an hour, with the fan on intermittent mode. The headset remained comfortable and I never got warm. As advertised, the fan doesn't blow on your eyes and, while it can be heard, the sound is quite low. After a few minutes, I only heard it if I stopped and listened.The only downside is there doesn't seem any obvious way to charge the fan WITH my Oculus. It needs a separate type-C charger. I'll work on that.

So, first things first. The fan is just about worthless. It barely moves any air and you can't really feel it. It does slightly help with glasses steaming up so thats a slight positive. However, I am keeping it because the piece that goes on your face is SO much more comfortable that what's on the original. It balances the weight out well. I also paired it with a comfort strap and battery pack and it makes gaming much more enjoyable. I even bought one for my son as well.So don't buy it because you think the fan will cool you off because it won't, but if you want a more comfortable face piece, take a look at it.

This works great, fits great and the little fan blows away from you and really takes the heat away!
