I purchased this item because I recently got a puppy but didn’t have the flexibility to be home with him all day. This feeder has been a great help (especially because young dogs need to eat more frequently than adults) with getting my dog on a schedule where he is comfortable in knowing that he will get food at assigned times every day. I have also toyed with the video/audio feature and it is super fun! My puppy gets really excited to see me and hear my voice periodically throughout the day (plus I can check to make sure he’s not getting into anything he shouldn’t be).For the technical portion, the set up was really easy. The food storage insert is intuitive and easy to figure out and there is only 1 cord that needs to be plugged in. In case of a black out or power outage, you can also put in batteries to keep the feeder running (though it takes quite a few). The app is also very user friendly – I had no issues customizing the feeding settings or using the video/audio connect.All in all, I’ve had this feeder for a week now and have had zero issues. I would highly recommend this to anyone with pets and a full time job. It has really made a difference for my puppy and me!

Don’t expect to see your cute pet on your smartphone. The app simply does not work. It took a long time just to connect to the internet, and it shows the device as being “offline” and therefore you cannot see the camera, talk on microphone, and feed your pet. The customer team? You can forget about that. Talked to a lady for ten minutes and she had no idea what was wrong, and she doesn’t know the problem. She seemed to be asking her supervisor but no solution. She took down my info and said an engineer would call me to fix the issue. It has been almost a week and still no call. I am returning this. Do not buy.

My life becomes much more convenient after I have this pet feeder. Its built-in function allows me to see and feed my dog easily when I am away from home. I do not need to worry any more if I would forget to prepare food for my dog.By the way, it's easy to set up and connect to phone.

I really like this automatic pet feeder !. it's very convenient for adding dry pet foods. I also use the app to set a schedule and automate feeding up to three times a day! I love it. very convenient !

Does not work.Tried Android, Tried iPhone. I was able to even, after a lot of tries, sync with local wifi, but nothing else worked.Do not purchase, and if you do, expect to return it.

Requires app to program feedings. Software of crashed continuously no matter how many times I reinstalled it. It was also incompatible with my tablet which I tried when I couldn't get to work.

I wavered between sending it back when I was having trouble with the app. It wasn't marking the food as having been released on the app even when I was there and saw it get released. Also it wasn't releasing each and every time I had it set up for. And now it does, every single time. I love the video aspect to check on my cat's activity and do call out to her using the app.The app definitely needs work. It's not intuitive to set up from the beginning.I think they split the amounts of servings per feeding time as one option along with the size of the serving to allow for more flexibility in portion sizes per feeding.I'm glad I ordered it. I've been looking for something that allowed for video, audio, and feeding. This was the one unit that combined it all for the lowest price.UPDATE: You get what you pay for. Cannot connect it to Bluetooth now. So the video doesn't work and I cannot program feeding times. I'll be looking into this again. Right now I use it when I travel, but can't view anything which was the whole point.

I cannot get it to go online. It is added to the app, but is always offline, making it useless. No troubleshooting in manual. Will be forced to return.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  The feeder doesn’t dispense food sometimes. As a pet owner I’m not home and I count on the feeder to give food to my pet. The picture quality is also very poor given we are in 2017 now. The connection is slow and laggy even under wifi.
