I can't express how good these are
I can't express how good these are. I'm insanely sensitive to cross contamination - I have to eat gluten, lactose, soy, and corn free because of Celiac. So my reactions are autoimmune; from aggravating my heart condition to neurological issues, and intestinal distress. I could easily be put in the hospital even if I've eaten gluten free and were cross contaminated. Either way, I know if something is made in an unsafe manner or a product lies about being 'free of this or that'. New Grains not only delivered amazing English muffins (which I haven't experienced in a decade) but they're really damn good too and SAFE. Zero issues! They had the 'sourdough' type of texture. The price is incredible. The taste is fantastic. They not only stand up to any other English muffins but they're a step or two above what you can buy in the store and then some. I really do believe it when they that say they're made fresh and shipped. That's why the shipping is high, because these are perishable. The ONLY issue is that they're so good that I'm addicted to them and can't often afford to buy them regularly, what with shipping costs and what not. But this was an incredible experience I really hope to repeat.Taste -- ++++ (4.5/5) -- they were just a LITTLE bland. But it's barely worth noting. NAILED the sourdough taste.Texture -- +++++ (5/5) -- even nailed the grainy, powdery coating. It's the little details.Structure -- +++++ (5/5) -- holds up perfectly, toasts crisply, does not fall apart.Visual -- +++++ (5/5) -- worth noting, these muffins are beautiful.Price -- +++++ (5/5) -- what's really incredible is that, if I could just buy these in a store, they'd not only be very feasible and affordable to buy like normal food but it's totally safe food made deliciously that doesn't cost you an arm and a leg (I have to spend $6 for a 1/2 gallon of milk for example).

These are AMAZING!!
I cannot say enough great things about these English muffins. (Who knew you can get so excited about an English muffin, right??!) I was very pleasantly surprised. I ordered 4 more packages as they can freeze up to a year. I toast them in my toaster and slather with grass fed butter.(Don’t judge lol) I cannot tell the difference between these and the store bought ones. They are delicious and the texture is just like the gluten-laden ones! But the BEST part is the LOW- CARB content. Only 4.5 carbs for an entire muffin!! Most are almost 40 carbs! I’m baffled they don’t use this in marketing them. Perfect for ppl who struggle with blood sugar issues. I will be a customer for life! Yummy

Don't order from off of Amazon?
The first time I ordered these muffins, they were soft and delightful; tasty for being gluten free. I was expecting a repeat performance, however, this time they were hard, and started to mold the next day. Guessing they had been sitting on the shelf too long, or in a very moist environment. Very disappointing considering how much they cost and the expensive shipping, that I literally threw away all but the first one I ate--and to be honest that first one wasn't worth eating either. Likely won't order again, as the cost is not worth another disappointment.

These are delicious
I love that they are precut. They toast and grill nicely. They are hearty and gluten free.

Tasty but not a great value.
I really liked the taste. I find them to be heavy or dense is probably a better description. That's good and bad in my book. They work really well as a vehicle for other things. We use them for hamburgers, Sloppy Joe's and they work really well for just about any open faced creation you can come up with. Overall I like the product, but I'm not crazy about the price. That lowered my overall rating.

Great product but shipping ridiculous
Delicious and healthy. A great gluten free product. But it rarely arrives on time and sometimes not at all. Shipping cost of $12.67 is ridiculous.

WOW
Whoever came up with this recipe should be canonized into the Pantheon of Bakery Sainthood, if such a thing were to exist. At the very least they should be inducted into the Bakery Hall of Fame, or get a Rolling Pin Gold Medal. These are very, very good; and most importantly, they taste like English Muffins. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU.From some experience I have learned that the best way to get a chewy crust on gluten free bread products is to (cast iron) pan fry them on low, slowly, in a little brown butter (I'm sure coconut oil would do the trick for vegans), while pressing with a spatula. A cast iron bacon press can be used to press them, but make sure that they don't burn. Brown up both sides, then rest them on a plate with a paper or cotton towel, and voila! Crispy, chewy on the outside and tender on the inside English Muffins await. I had mine with clotted cream and bitter orange marmalade on one half, and the other half with blackberry jam; with some nice strong black milk tea.You will not be disappointed. Order two packs to make the shipping cost sting less, and freeze one. Shipping was fast and they were well-packaged.5 stars all around!

Too dry and crumbly
I love English muffins and am gluten-free, so decided to give this a try. Unfortunately, they were dry and crumbly and didn't have a lot of taste.
