Conclusion to the Metal Virus Arc
More good storytelling and characterization. Young kids will like it. The art is spectacular and feels like you’re watching an animated show. The only knock against it I can think of is the Deadly Six and the Babylon Rogues kind of come out of nowhere and if you’re not familiar with their games you might be confused who they are and what their motivations are.But overall it’s a great collection and I hope this series continues.

Great story and quality
I love the world of sonic and having now the full story in such a great quality book is amazing! The story ties in a lot of the distorted canon in sonic lore through comics and games and follows the game sonic forces. It does a great job of making every character feel unique and impactfull. I whole heartedly recomment this adaptation! 😁

Truly amazing, although long, story.
There are so many spectacular moments in this absolutely crazy and very tragic story being told. I would be raving about it all day if I really wanted to, but I want to at least try to keep this brief. Basically, this book completes the long but excellent storyline fans like to call the Metal Virus arc. It's such a tense and genuinely emotional story, blowing any other Sonic story (that I've seen or read) out of the water in those fronts. Thankfully it gets much more time to sit and really make an impact, too, since this book rectified the problem I had with the previous book regarding tonal whiplash; every single story included in this collection connects to the tragedy of the virus and it really sells just how hopeless of a situation this feels. The things they put these poor characters through were so surprising to me and the emotions were real. My only real complaint is that I worry this event will have no real lasting effect on the characters, when really all of them should be so traumatized and changed by this. Hopefully I'm wrong about that. The last few issues are also a tad disappointing since they take place just after the disease was fixed, but they still have cool fun moments.I loved my time reading this and I'm very excited for when the next hardcover collection releases next year. I don't know how they will top this story.

Excellent collection
Alternative cover arts, side stories in recommended reading order all in a hardcover format make these easily the best way to read the series (physically at least) makes me weep that Archie Sonic never got this treatment
