3.75 Inch Round Orchid/Hydroponics Slotted Mesh Net Pot - 20 Pack

These pots are really well constructed and not as thin and flimsy as some others. I like the 3.75 size as it is slightly larger than the more common 3 inch net pot.Use a 3 5/8 hole saw for a perfect fit.

These pots are great for orchids that enjoy a lot of air circulation around their roots. I am using them for baby phals and cattleyas. I imagine they would also work well for small aquatic plants either in the aquarium or in a pond.

The pots themselves are great, the lips are a bit small for what I used them for but they were all around good. The problem is each individual pot has a UPC sticker on it THAT IS A PAIN to get off. One out of four would come clean off, the rest had to be tediously scraped off by hand. DONT GET THEM WET BEFORE YOU PEEL THE STICKER OFF! It will take up to 20 minutes on each pot to scrape off the glue they use on the UPC sticker. It's annoying because if you dont spend the time needed to manage these stickers, you effectively introduce whatever is in the glue to the plants or their water based enviroment.

hole size is big enough that roots can develop well but small enough that soil alternatives (hydroton) can be used easily. Lip size is sufficient for hydroponic setups

Exactly what I expected. I didn't have any of the problems with an insufficient lip that some reported with other vendors. A 3 1/2" hole saw cuts the perfect sized hole for the job. Prompt delivery, too!

good size for my hydroponic project. Seems these are hard to find in retail businesses. Easy to find at Amazon . com. thanks for providing the access to this product.

these work great, I have tomatoes, cucumber, and parsley so far growing through these, roots have no problems establishing themselves in the bucket underneath

They have a good amount of holes for roots, water and air.You can use them over and over.Top edge prevents cup from falling into cutouts.
