I didn't pay much, and didn't expect much. This product met my expectations, but certainly didn't exceed them. Nice cheap product to teach my kids.

I have bought it for the letters and numbers that was in the photo, but the product was different.

My child has learned Chinese chess before, and this time I bought chess. The child will play for a while every day when he comes home from school. There are still many differences in the rules. Recently, he is very fascinated. He plays with his parents and neighbors. He likes it very much.

- The wooden board feels cheap (maybe balsa?),- the two halves of the board don't quite line up visually at the seam,- the bishops don't have notches so they look rather similar to the queens, and- there are no coordinates on the board.I believe I bought this for $10, definitely wouldn't recommend at a $16 price point.

Very poor construction and materials that look nothing like the photos. It doesn’t match the title or description (see real photos).1) not 12” wide2) not magnetic3) no built-in piece storage4) no letter/number markers along the side4) no dovetail cornersJust not the same thing as advertised.Avoid this.

There are no numbers and letters, and one rooks face was snapped off.Pieces are very hard to distinguish very low quality and detail on pieces.

Nothing like what the product pics look like. NO WOODEN BOX at all…just cardboard Square that folds.
