Great product. I moved to the middle of nowhere and don’t have a barber here so I’ve just decided to give myself my own shape-ups. If you’re in a situation where you have to give yourself your own cuts…..this makes life so much easier. Aside from the fact that you can reflect pretty much any angle of your face and neck….I just love that you can step into the mirror and get really close to it.If you’re cutting in front of a mirror with your bathroom counter sink in front of you and can’t get close enough to your mirror, this solves the problem. No need to lean over your counter anymore. Just step up into this thing. Door hooks on the back are great. Packable, but I’d appreciate if they could find a way to make it a little slimmer. It’s just on the fence of being too annoying to pack in my opinion.The 3 way reflection is like a 270 degree view of your head. You adjust the two side mirrors and reflect against each other to get the view. It takes a little getting used to because it’s going to show your reflection in reverse. So all the cutting motions look like you’d go in reverse. Don’t do that. Align your clipper or blade with the front mirror….trust your regular stroke in whatever area you’re cutting. Awkward at first and takes some getting used to but after a few tries you figure it out.Honestly I’ve got it down and feel like I get my lines good enough where I don’t really care if I find a barber or not. So this thing saved me on future spend. That alone is worth the 5 stars.

I like that the hook on top telescopes like an old radio antenna, but it just seems flimsy. We'll see how it holds up. For the price it's a great deal even if it does break.

I stopped going to barbershops almost 20 years ago because I didn't like the atmosphere, intrusiveness of the barber's conversation, or the outrageous prices that seem to only get higher every year. My wife happily volunteered to cut my hair, and while she did the best that she could, I was reduced to a super low haircut that appeared to most that I was bald. I often tried to get her to learn how to give a more professional haircut by watching YouTube videos, but she was uninterested. So after 17 years I decided to take matters into my own hands, and that's when I found this product. I give it my highest rating. Not only can I cut my own hair whenever I want, it looks like I came straight from a skilled barber. My advice is to take your time and don't rush. The pictures shown below is from only from my second time of use. I'm getting better and better. You can't mess up with this product. I'd buy again in a heart beat 💓

I am so glad I ordered this even though there were a few concerning reviews. It is sturdy, the perfect size, and the entire thing (even the over-the-door hooks) flip around and fold up to the size and shape of a small laptop computer. It included hooks for the wall (I'd probably just use a couple little 3m command hooks) if you don't have a door or towel bar to hang it on. You do not need to have another mirror behind you to get a view of your entire head, so you are not stuck in the bathroom. I am blind as a bat and I can see every hair on my head using just this mirror, and I can get so physically close to it that I actually see exactly where I'm applying color. It's much clearer than the floor mirrors I used to set up in the bathroom. I got the one without the light because I have an old floor lamp I've always used, but I kind of wish I'd gotten the lighted one now because it would be a completely self-contained unit and I wouldn't have to drag the lamp out every time I color. I wish I hadn't gone so long without a mirror like this, I had no idea it would make such a big difference!
