Tells Max Verstappen's unique story - but not in a cloying, fanzine way. Mark Hughes's intimate knowledge of F1 and motor sport provides the perfect background to full coverage of Verstappen's story and why he is like he is, both as a driver and a person. Detailed interviews with key people add to the pleasure that comes with an entertaining and informed read. Thoroughly recommended.

This is an excellent biography. Not because it unearths any new information about Max's early years, which it doesn't. The added value comes from Mark's extensive knowledge of F1 and his unrivalled capacity to analyse F1 racing and its drivers. It's not a sycophantic hagiography of Max, but a scrupulously impartial assessment of Max as a driver. Must read for true F1 fans

This book tells more than Max Verstappen's story thanks to an in-depth knowledge of F1 and all that's going on. A really interesting read that gets under the skin of a largely misunderstood driver. Recommended.
