The smell is pungent but the oil is heavy and feels great on my scalp as I diluted with sunflower and olive oil because my porous hair doesn't absorb very much while dry so a little goes a long way. Doesn't smell like peppermint at all but if you apply to damp/wet hair your scalp will tingle. My bottles arrived without spillage. Great price!

I've been using Jamaican black castor oil for YEARS! My preferred brand is Sunny Isle's lavender JBCO. But recently I've read about the benefits of rosemary oil for hair. I took a chance and bought OKAY's Rosemary JBCO.I've been using it for 23 days and it's aided in my hair growth. Castor oil has always worked great for my hair, and this brand is no exception. My hair is moisturized, soft, and easily manageable. While I don't expect for this oil to re-grow my damaged edges or hairline, it is assisting in the growth of the rest of my hair and the hair on my nape.I apply the oil on my edges, hairline, and nape every night before bed. In the morning I apply the oil to my edges, hairline, and nape again. And every other day I apply the oil throughout my scalp. I also use the oil after washing and deep conditioning my hair.I can definitely see this brand as a staple in my haircare routine. I'm very satisfied. 😌

Nice thick castor oil, but light in color, not dark like usual.

Not the best smell lol but i love this castor oil. I've tried other companies and this is the only company I useeee. Love the easy to apply noz and i use the Lemongrass, Lavender, Eucalyptus & first time trying this one. The Lemongrass, Lavender & Eucalyputs smells better but eachh infusion of the oil are for specific things so keep that in mind when choosing. This one will help with grays due to the rosemary. But i dont need it for that no grays yet i just love this brand so i got anything i could get fast cause its thr only thing that works for my head the drinks up moisture that i can atleast go 1-2 days without oiling. 🙄

If you are consistent, this works. I went to the dermatologist and had a biopsy and was advised that the huge 3 inches by 1.5 inches bald spot in the center of my head was due to over processing (chemical such as relaxers and coloring). I didn't believe him because I was balding all over my body, spots on my legs, arms, etc. So I have a lil hair grow now and then, but never like this. It's been a little over 1 month and I have hair growing. You can actually comb it. It's patchy especially where they did the biopsy, not much hair there, but when it grows it will surely be a million times better than what was not there before. Everyone from the hair dresser to the nutritionist blamed the fact that I had diabetes, but I still have diabetes and my hair is growing thanks to the Okay Castor Oil. I put on my edges, eyebrows, and eyelashes. All thicker and growing but my edges are growing much slower. I believe it's because I wear a wig which is probably pulling on my edges more. But with 3 turnaround successes out of 4, I'm really thankful!!! Also, I use it on my moles the last month and they are drying up and getting smaller (smaller ones are gone and the bigger ones are smaller). The oil is thick but in the morning it is absorbed into your skin. I also noticed last night that when I missed rubbing the castor oil on my eyelids, I had trouble falling to sleep. So it has been a natural sleep aid for me too. I can't say it will work for you that way but to someone who used to have a lot of sleepless nights, I am thankful!!! Be consistent and in a month or sooner, you will see a difference!!!
