Fun for a short time but hard to keep on
The kids will play it for a time, but get bored. There are several reasons why. With all of the running the armbands don’t want to stay on. They always want an adult to play and it’s even worse for the adult to keep the armband up. There needs to be a velcro armband. There are several games of tag, but you can’t get too far from each other or it won’t work and the game ends. The kids have also complained that the main player tag band has ruined a few games of hide and seek for announcing when someone is too far away. I think the best thing about these is announcing who is “IT” in a game of tag.

The game of tag revolutionized!
The game of tag is timeless, and this is a fun update on the classic game. The one thing about a regular tag is that there can be disagreements about if you were actually “tagged.” With this game, there’s no disputing if someone tapped the button on your armband. My youngest is the size of most 10 years old’s and is skinny. He had some trouble with his armband fitting (as in loose) which I was surprised by since the box shows younger children. I would assume the majority age range would be 4-12, but we also had fun as a family with older teens and adults playing. My husband is quite solid and stocky, so he did have to wear his armband closer to his forearm. The armband fits one of my older teenagers perfectly and also fits me fine.My youngest and I also had fun strapping the armbands onto our swing set poles and playing one of the games this way – a good way to get some exercise too!The fact that there are 20 games, means there are a lot of creative options and modes depending on if you have a single-player, two-player, or more. You can also connect another set for up to 8 players. An interesting thing happened when an airplane flew over, and our units glitched and shut off. We did note there was a warning in the booklet stating that static electricity could cause the units to malfunction. I've been reading up on physics, but if you live near low-flying aircraft or shuffle your feet a lot, keep in mind the possibility of a temporary malfunction.
