Solar spinner is a winner!
I bought one of these Solar spinners last year. I was amazed at how strong it was, because I hung a 4 ft. long spiral twister that I bought at Hobby Lobby that I couldn’t get to turn in the breeze. Got this spinner and it took off! I forgot to bring it in over the winter and the solar plate got totally ruined, so I just bought another one. Not the fault of the product, the fault of the user! I highly recommend this spinner. Quick shipping, great product and good price.

It works well, but needs set-up directions.
This ABXKZ rotating motor is the best rotating motor that I could find on Amazon for spinning mirror balls, ornaments, crib mobiles, etc. It runs on a rechargeable lithium battery and has a remote that is used to change the direction and speed of motor rotation. The rotating motor and its battery are contained inside the gold-colored bell. For all the capability that you get with this rotating motor, the price is very reasonable. As soon as you receive your ABXKZ rotating motor from Amazon, check to make sure everything works correctly. The remote controller that I received with my first rotating motor did not work; however, the replacement worked well. As always, Amazon replaces defective merchandise without added cost to you.Although set-up directions are critical for getting this rotating motor to operate correctly, there are no directions in the motor box. Unfortunately, the ABXKZ promotional information and videos on the Amazon website only give partial directions. Detailed set-up directions follow, if you need them:1. The battery inside the bell should be charged for about 2 hours before using the motor. You will find an 18-inch charging cable inside the box along with the bell and the remote controller. Plug the small end of the charging cable into the bottom of the bell and the large end of the cable into a USB port on your computer or charging station. The small power button on the bottom of the bell next to the charging port will glow red while the battery is charging. When the red light turns off, the battery is fully charged.2. The motor needs to be “activated” after each time it is charged. To do this, press the power button at the bottom of the bell for about 3 seconds until the power button light blinks green. To start (or stop) the motor, press the power button on the bottom of the bell a second time for about 1 second or press the ON/OFF button on your remote control after removing the clear plastic tab at the bottom of the remote. (This activates the 3-volt CR2025 lithium battery inside the remote). If you press the power button (operating in the “green mode”) for 3 seconds, it will then blink red. This deactivates the motor (and the remote) until you again press the power button for 3 seconds and it blinks green.3. You can turn the motor on and off manually using the power button on the bottom of the bell or the remote controller. However, you must use the remote to change the motor rotation by pressing the “left” (counter-clockwise) or “right” (clockwise) button on the remote.4. You must also use the remote controller to change the motor’s rotation speed to “low“(1-5 RPM), “medium”(10-15 RPM), or “high”(20-30 RPM).A few other observations: First, my remote controller (with a new 3-volt battery) works indoors within 10 feet of the motor (not 15 feet, as advertised), and seems to work around minor obstructions. Second, when you change the rotation speed/direction of the motor with the remote controller, the motor itself will rotate up to a quarter turn to achieve your desired speed/direction, giving you a sense for the mechanical complexity inside the bell. Third, I am quite sure that each motor operates on a different radio frequency. So, you can’t use the same remote to control different motors.

Nice that it has a remote control
I spray painted it silver so it did not clash with my spinner. Made such to use painters tape in the impt spots on the bottom. The remote works great, but it doesn't work great trying to turn it on from inside thru a window. Overall, I love it.

Must be charged every 2 days
While I like the idea, I didn't realize the bell only stays charged for 2 days, even though I turn it off at 6pm and turn on at 7am. I have my wind spinner and bell in a spot that requires me to get on a ladder to remove them. I'm 67 years old and it's inconvenient to get on a ladder every 2 days to remove the wind spinner so I can charge the bell every 2 days. I don't have an electrical outlet on my porch so I must remove and charge it inside my house every 2 days. I would prefer to use my old spinner that requires on D battery because that stays charged over one month. I am surprised the bell does not stay charged longer.

Does not spin well
After changing settings, it id creating wonderful colors and also rotates very well. we bought another Peacoke wind spinner from another seller. It has better setting instruction.Your peacock spinner should set not a total of 180 degrees for each wing. It should be only 20 to 30 degrees only.

Works great as long as it's in Sun
The media could not be loaded. Works in sun only. Wish it had a battery on cloudy days

Too dark, no reflections
Pretty, very stiff, will turn but very dark and no light coming from it. Spinners spin to cast off rays of light, that’s what I thought. Pretty but does not serve it’s purpose so I gave it to my neighbor.

Worked perfectly.
The media could not be loaded. I wanted to add one of these to my colourful Mexican skull I brought home and this worked perfectly. The bright colours match the skull and it clipped on easily.Being outside it did start to rust fairly quickly but I just sprayed the spiral with silver spray and it looks as good as new.
